Sister trip from Jingmai to Xishuangbanna

During the time in Lancang and Jinghong, I was truly moved by Yunnan's magnificent landscapes and unique culture. The most stunning experience was staying at the Manghong Dazhai guesthouse, where lying in bed I could admire the majestic sunrise over Jingmai Mountain and the dreamy sea of clouds through the large floor-to-ceiling windows. For an even more immersive viewing experience, we waited a whole hour on the rooftop, from the first faint light on the horizon to the sky filled with colorful, brilliant clouds. Xishuangbanna 12 Star Language Art Hotel (Xishuangbanna Jinghong Mengle Grand Buddha Temple Branch) A few travel tips: 1️⃣ The best season to watch the sunrise is from October to March of the following year; it’s recommended to get up at 5 AM 2️⃣ There is a large temperature difference between day and night locally, so remember to bring a windproof jacket 3️⃣ The tea leaves from the ancient tea trees in Nuogan Ancient Village are a great buy.
