Spend some time wandering along the cobbled streets like Rua Silva Lopez, discovering hidden corners of the town, stopping at the charming street cafes, visiting small curiosity shops. Plaza do Infante is the largest square in Lagos, in this square there are several interesting buildings and a statue of infante Dom Henrique. Santa Maria church is at the square, having been a place for worship since 1948. Early morning is the best time to explore the old town before it gets too crowded. Most cafes open between 8am to 9am, Shops and most businesses open between 9am to 10am.
