Ancient Tea Holy Land Jingmai Mountain

Jingmai Mountain is located in the southwestern border of Yunnan Province, China, situated in Huimin Township, Lancang County, Yunnan Province. In the 10th century AD, descendants of the Pu people and the ancestors of the Blang ethnic group migrated to Jingmai Mountain, beginning the discovery, domestication, and cultivation of ancient tea trees. At the end of the Yuan and the beginning of the Ming dynasties, the Dai ethnic group entered Lancang and came to Jingmai Mountain. The scale of tea planting in Jingmai Mountain gradually expanded, forming the current cultural landscape pattern of ancient tea forests spanning thousands of acres and thousands of years. It was named one of the first "Chinese Folk Cultural Heritage Tourism Demonstration Areas," also known as a "miracle in the history of human tea culture," and is praised as the "World Tea Culture History Natural Museum." The main attractions include well-preserved Dai villages and vast ancient tea forests, presenting a beautiful green landscape of "mountains with forests, forests producing tea, and tea surrounding villages."
