Debates usually start at 3 PM (none on Sundays or major religious festivals). It is recommended to arrive at the monastery around 2:30 PM to allow time to buy tickets and walk slowly to the debate venue. The debate place is inside the building shown in photo 15. 🎫 Ticket: 50 RMB per person. Purchase on site, no need to book in advance. 🚗 Transportation Going: Take a taxi from downtown Lhasa to Sera Monastery. The fare is about 20 RMB, and it takes about 20 minutes to reach the entrance directly. Return: After the visit, there are many taxis and buses at the monastery entrance for the return trip, which is also very convenient. 💰 Small Change You can prepare some 1 RMB and 5 RMB coins for offering incense money inside the hall (voluntary), but it is not necessary. 📷 Photography The photo spots at Sera Monastery have all been found.
