Three days and two nights are perfect for relaxing and getting rid of the fatigue. 1️⃣ The sunrise at Tang'an Rice Terraces is a must-see, it's really beautiful. You can see the sea of clouds, terraces, and the panoramic view of the distant village. If you can drive an electric scooter, I highly recommend renting one to go up. I asked the homestay owner to help rent the scooter, rented at 5 AM and returned at 8 AM (only charged us 60 for two scooters, such a great deal, the owner is really nice!). It takes half an hour to drive up, but there are many curves, so be careful. Truly primitive villages are not really suitable for tourism (because on the way down after watching the sunrise, we passed by a primitive Dong village). The food in the village is quite limited. If you want to try more diverse Guizhou cuisine, it is not recommended to stay in the village. It is advisable to prepare some stomach medicine before traveling, as you might get diarrhea due to acclimatization. 3️⃣ I chose to stay in the village. The homestay is called Sui Xin Yi, very clean and cozy, the bed is two meters wide and moderately firm. The homestay owner is very nice, you can call the owner for pick-up and drop-off from the bus stop. However, the whole house is wooden, so the sound insulation is poor. You can hear footsteps from upstairs if you stay on the second floor, so those with light sleep should choose carefully. 4️⃣ I had sour soup beef hotpot at Zui Di Yi Lou, the taste was very much to my liking, and the view from the third floor was also great. The local black-haired pig here is really fragrant. For breakfast, I ate at a nameless shop, and the mixed noodles were really delicious. 5️⃣ There are many travel photo shoots on the main street, you can rent ethnic costumes for photos (many tourists looked beautiful in them). Since I didn't come with the intention of taking great photos, I didn't try the travel photo shoot. 6️⃣ I went to Wuyou Coffee for coffee, it has large floor-to-ceiling windows with great views. There is a silver-shaded cat and an Oreo teddy bear in the shop, and it's also a great place for photos. I brought my camera and took some casual shots, which turned out pretty good. I spent almost the whole afternoon there, looking at the clouds and buildings by the window, which was very healing. 7️⃣ This trip coincided with the Dong Grand Song Finals, which was an unexpected surprise. Hearing it for the first time, I found it very shocking and fresh. Listening to them sing felt very lively. In the evening, I unexpectedly saw a passerby proposing, playing Jay Chou's 'Confession Balloon', which created a great atmosphere. 8️⃣ There are many native grandmothers by the roadside hand-sewing sachets, 10 yuan each. If possible, I recommend bringing some cash to buy from them, it makes them very happy. Each sachet is unique and can be a great souvenir for friends. The village is not big, two days are actually enough to explore. I read many posts about avoiding pitfalls before coming, and I think the mindset is very important. If you come with the expectation of taking great photos or having a lot of fun, you might be disappointed. I personally think it's perfect for relaxing and changing your mood after being tired from work.
