After dropping off our luggage, we rushed to the balcony: the mist was flowing down the mountain peaks, and Guling Town in the distance looked like a little box nestled in greenery🎁. I snapped a photo and posted it online, and friends asked, “Are you living in the clouds?” At dusk, we had tea on the terrace, the owner brought a small charcoal stove to brew tea, and the tea smoke mingled with the mountain mist, even our voices softened~ At night, we watched a movie with the projector, wrapped in a soft quilt, while the mountain wind howled outside the window, blowing all fatigue away🌙 The next morning, we followed the owner’s recommended off-the-beaten-path route: visiting Xiaotianchi to see the temple wrapped in morning mist, and walking along the creek by the power station dam—without the crowds of tour groups, Lushan’s beauty felt quiet and genuine.
