How could a train journey in Switzerland not be beautiful?

The GoldenPass Line is actually a panoramic train between Montreux and Zweisimmen, and I highly recommend taking this scenic train. The large windows truly allow you to enjoy stunning views of lakes and mountains. Thanks to the huge glass windows, it feels like you're outside, but you're actually indoors! If possible, remember to choose a seat on the left side to get the best views of the Alps and the surrounding countryside. The mountain tops haven't seen snow yet, and the beautiful remote alpine farms and villages along the way left us in awe. For this trip, bring sandwiches and drinks, as you won't have time to buy anything when changing trains at Spiez and Zweisimmen, and there are no dining cars on the train.
