Nice Little Nice 🌷

A friend and I stayed for a night in Nice but I felt as though we stayed longer , like a proper vacation. We started off by visiting Old Town Nice and I remember wanting to buy every little thing in all those souvenirs shops. Next was a Flower Market, a popular open air market where you can find food items and flowers of course. Some people were also selling paintings, very pretty ones. La Promenade des Anglais which extends for a distance of approximately 7km is something you can’t miss. We sat on the rocks at the beach for a while before continuing the visit , but we came back two more times. One time for the sunset and the third time for sunrise, upon leaving the following morning. I loved it, the water had three different shades of blue and the sound of the waves were so very soothing! La Place Massena with its coloured buildings is a must see! While exploring we ended up in a Parc called Colline du Chateau which offers a view on the port of Nice !!! It was just amazing. Next time we’ll go witness the sunrise there. The avenue Jean Medecin is the shopping street so if you’re interested in shopping you’ll probably enjoy it more than us. We only passed by. As for the food, I had a salad Nicoise and wanted to try Ratatouille as well because they are both part of the city’s traditional dishes but , the restaurant didn’t have it on the menu. As for the salad, it tasted okay, I’ve had better . But I’m still content with the fact that I tried it. We will definitely be going back and we’ll bring more friends with us, maybe we’ll even stay a bit longer 😊 #beachlife #trip
