Hue Imperial City

Gorgeous Hue Imperial City and Citadel is a recognized UNESCO World Heritage Site. Most of the buildings in the complex belong to the 19th century. Some of the buildings are now under the reconstruction, but it doesn't spoil the overall impression. You can take fantastic pictures there especially on a sunny day starting with the gate which is framed by flowery trees. Try to avoid large crowds of tourist coming on the weekdays closer to 4pm.
