One Hundred Ways to Capture Autumn: The Maple Leaves of Moganshan

If you want to enjoy the fall foliage, you better hurry up~ To avoid crowds, I took a day off on a non-working day, so there were fewer people. This is my second time visiting Moganshan. I came in the summer before, but with the addition of red maples this season, it’s truly stunning. Transportation: Take the high-speed train from Shanghai Hongqiao Station to Deqing Station (about 1 hour and 10 minutes). After getting off, take a taxi directly to the "Moganshan Tourism Transfer Center" (40 minutes). Enter and show your ticket to board the shuttle bus up the mountain, which all stops at the Yinshan Street Transfer Center. Itinerary: If you want to visit major attractions, you can take the scenic shuttle bus from the Yinshan Street Transfer Center to various spots. This time, we focused on enjoying the maple leaves, so after arriving at Yinshan Street, we slowly walked and took photos, which took about 2 hours. Recommended check-in spots based on personal experience: Photo Spot 1: On the small road to the Catholic Church on Yinshan Street, there is an abandoned villa (P2) you can sneak into through the railing. Be very careful here—there are nails on the railing, so don’t touch them! Photo Spot 2: Villa No. 48 and Villa No. 410 are next to each other. Photo Spot 3: Yinling Pond (near Yiyuan) There are some other photo spots we didn’t visit, which you can choose based on your own situation: Villa No. 62 (entry requires a purchase), Luhuadang Park.
