Taiyuan Ancient County: The night view is stunning, but I advise you not to take it too seriously

Stopped by Taiyuan Ancient County on the way Because it was already dark when I left Jin Temple Unexpectedly, the aerial night view was so amazing✨ The lights outline the city wall For a moment, it felt like time traveling But! Once you walk inside, you come back to reality The commercialization is really intense😂 Almost everything is photo spots, snack stalls, and souvenir shops It feels more like a large ancient-style photography base It’s definitely good for photos, but don’t expect an in-depth visit At night, many buildings are hard to see clearly Maybe you can check out the relics during the day But the atmosphere definitely isn’t as good as at night If you come all the way here on purpose You might be a little disappointed 📌 Practical tips: 1️⃣ Recommend coming at dusk, first take photos of the buildings in daylight, then shoot the night view when the lights come on 2️⃣ Aerial shots > ground experience, be sure to bring your equipment if you have it 3️⃣ Lower your expectations, it’s okay as a free place to walk and take photos 4️⃣ Don’t come here specifically, just stop by if you’re passing through (like me)
