Scenery rating: 5 stars The hotel is located at an altitude of about 800 meters on Tiantai Mountain, surrounded by mountains, as if suspended above the clouds. You can feel the tranquility and beauty during your stay. Transportation review: We drove along the Tiantai Line. It took half an hour to drive along the mountain road from the foot of the mountain to the hotel. The scenery along the way was great, but it is relatively inconvenient for non-self-driving guests. Dining experience: The dinner tasted good. I recommend the grilled yellow croaker with rice cake. The dishes were served a bit slowly, but it didn't matter much to us who were on a staycation. After the dishes were sold out and cancelled, the restaurant also gave each of us a pudding. Breakfast is a Japanese set meal + semi-buffet style. Compared with the hotels we have stayed in before for more than 2k/night, there are fewer choices. Service experience: The service attitude was great, all the staff would greet us with a smile!!! Nearby places: Guoqing Temple: about 19 kilometers from the hotel, about 28 minutes by car. Tongbai Palace: about 14 kilometers from the hotel, about 22 minutes by car. Tiantai Mountain Waterfall: about 13 kilometers from the hotel, about 20 minutes by car. Shiliang Waterfall: about 7 kilometers from the hotel, about 15 minutes by car. You can choose the nearby attractions according to your needs. We went to Guoqing Temple and Tongbai Palace. Because the weather was too hot, we didn't go to Tiantai Mountain Waterfall and Shiliang Waterfall. The hotel has activities such as Tai Chi and Baduanjin. We didn't get up at 8 o'clock, so we didn't participate. If you can get up, you can try it. In addition, they also gave us daily tea breaks (tea or coffee + pastries), which tasted good. In general, the experience of coming to Hoshino Resorts KAI in the off-season is great. The only downsides are the slow serving speed and average breakfast. I will come again if I have the chance.
