Turin - A Course Menu That Lets You Taste a Full Serving at Half the Portion.

Antipasto, primo, secondo, dolce... It's always been a big dream of mine to eat a full course from appetizer to dessert, but that's a tall order for someone like me who travels with stomach medicine. However, lately, there are many restaurants that offer a tasting menu called Menù Degustazione, which allows you to taste their especially recommended dishes in half portions. Ristorante Consorzio's Menù Degustazione is centered around a traditional slow food menu, and they were generous enough to accommodate changes from the regular menu when I consulted them about overlapping dishes I had already eaten at other restaurants. In particular, the raw meat appetizer (from the previous photo) and the crispy egg with crispy bacon on top (from the first photo) were unexpectedly too delightful, hastening my path to drunkenness.
