The Patuxay Monument in Vientiane, Laos, feels like being in Paris!

The Patuxay Monument is located in the center of Vientiane, near the Lao Prime Minister's Office and facing the Presidential Palace. Originally a large monument, it was named the Patuxay (Victory Gate) to commemorate the historic event of the citizens' parade celebrating Laos' independence in 1975. Admission is free, and the lights are turned on after 6:30 PM. There are fountain shows at different times of the day, with the best view in the evening. If you want to take photos📸, it's recommended to go after 5 PM to capture the monument in daylight, at sunset, and in the evening. Once the fountain show starts, you can take photos of both the fountain and the illuminated monument, making it feel just like being in Paris.
