Standing on the banks of the Yellow River, there is an ancient building, which is the Hou Tu Temple on the bank of the Yellow River in Wanrong, Shanxi. It is the earliest temple on the land of China used for the worship of Hou Tu. Since ancient times, emperors of successive dynasties have often held ceremonies to worship Hou Tu here, with Emperor Wu of Han visiting this place 7 times and leaving behind the famous 'Autumn Wind Ode'. The ancients held a deep reverence for heaven and earth, and the Goddess Hou Tu was regarded as the deity of the land. Inside this temple, there is a unique '品'-shaped stage that can simultaneously host three different plays. The brick carvings, wood carvings, and stone carvings here are also known as the 'three excellences', with exquisite craftsmanship and stunning beauty.
