Cherry Blossom Viewing at Yuantouzhu

It's cherry blossom season again in March. This spring has been colder than usual, so the cherry blossom season has been delayed by about ten days. Taking advantage of a beautiful, sunny weekend, our family went to Yuantouzhu to see the first cherry blossoms in bloom. Under the warm spring sun, the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Although only the early-blooming cherry blossoms are currently showing their fragrance on the branches, there is still the beauty of falling petals. However, Yuantouzhu was extremely crowded on the weekend, with visitors packed shoulder to shoulder, and long queues everywhere. Whether entering the park, taking a boat trip, or even taking pictures by the lake, it took a long time to queue. This level of crowding significantly diminished the experience, and our original plan to savor the beauty of the cherry blossoms had to be changed to a rushed tour. Despite this, it was still worthwhile to see the delicate beauty of the cherry blossoms in person. Recommended cherry blossom viewing spots: Within the Yuantouzhu scenic area, the cherry blossoms by Changchun Bridge are like snow, the Changguangxi Wetland offers distant views of Taihu Lake dotted with cherry blossoms, and the Cherry Blossom Valley is an excellent spot for cherry blossom viewing. These less-crowded locations can help you avoid the crowds. 4. Photography tips: Use your phone's portrait mode or a camera with a large aperture to highlight the cherry blossoms and blur the background. Use natural light, side lighting, or backlighting. Use a reflector or white paper to reflect light and make the cherry blossoms appear brighter and more vibrant. 5. Sun and wind protection: There is often a breeze during cherry blossom season, so bring a light jacket and sunscreen to prevent colds and sunburn.
