When I arrived at Yangshuo Miaozai Shanye, I felt like a bird returning to its nest, finding a home for my soul. The pastoral scenery here is like a poem or painting. In the distance are golden rice fields, swaying in the breeze like a golden ocean. Nearby are scattered farmhouses, with the sounds of roosters crowing and dogs barking, full of life. The rooms at the homestay are filled with the warmth of the countryside. The rooms are decorated with dried flowers and hay, simple yet tasteful. A pastoral oil painting hangs above the bed, allowing me to appreciate the beauty of the countryside even while resting. Stepping out of the room, the lobby is filled with a faint floral fragrance. The lobby is decorated with rural elements, including wooden farm tools and various straw weavings, such as cute scarecrows. The surrounding activities allowed me to fully enjoy the slow-paced life. In the morning, I strolled along the rice fields, breathing in the earthy fragrance. Watching the farmers working in the fields, their smiles were simple and sincere, allowing me to feel the simplicity of rural life. In the afternoon, I participated in a fruit-picking activity. Entering the orchard, the trees were laden with fruit. I picked fresh oranges and pomelos with my own hands, savoring the sweet and sour juice, feeling satisfied. I also experienced making farm-style dishes, from picking vegetables to cooking, each step was full of fun. As I prepared to leave this tranquil countryside, I knew I had fallen in love with this slow-paced life.
