Fiji rock festival is located in the Naeba ski resort in Niigata prefecture. Fuji Rock Festival is named so because the first event in 1997 was held at the base of Mount Fuji. Since 1999 the festival has been held at the Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa, Niigata. The easiest and comfortable way to get there from Tokyo is taking the bullet train to Niigata station and moved to the ski resort with taxi or change to local train. The Fuji rock festival has been held full 3 days for each year. The ticket prices are around 350 dollars for whole 3 days or you can purchase 1 day ticket with around 150 dollars.
