The mighty Skógafoss waterfall 🗺️
#waterfall
I just got back from my trip to Iceland, and I have to say, Skógafoss waterfall was hands down one of the highlights! 🌊 Located in the south of Iceland, near the small town of Skógar, this place is an absolute gem. The entrance is free, which is amazing considering how breathtaking it is. The waterfall drops 60 meters (about 200 feet) and the mist creates a beautiful rainbow on sunny days. 🌈 I was able to get super close to the waterfall, which made for some incredible photos (and a bit of a soaking, but totally worth it!). If you're feeling adventurous, there's a steep staircase right next to the waterfall that takes you to the top. The view from up there is just unbelievable, you can see the entire valley stretching out before you. 🏞️
After spending time at Skógafoss, I took a short drive to the nearby Sólheimasandur beach to see the famous plane wreck – it’s about a 10-minute drive from the waterfall and a bit of a hike to get to, but so worth it! I also visited the Skógar Museum, which was super interesting and gave me a good sense of Iceland's history and culture. For those with a little more time, the nearby Fimmvörðuháls hiking trail is supposed to be amazing, connecting Skógafoss to the famous Þórsmörk valley.

Maybe the most beautiful waterfall ever 🗺️
#waterfall
Seljalandsfoss is hands-down one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've ever seen! 🌊 Located on Iceland's south coast, about a 2-hour drive from Reykjavik, this stunning 60-meter waterfall is a must-see if you're traveling around the island. The entrance fee is free, but there's a small parking fee of 800 ISK (around $6 USD), which is totally worth it considering the spectacular experience that awaits. 🚗
What sets Seljalandsfoss apart is that you can actually walk behind the waterfall, giving you a unique perspective of the cascading water with the beautiful Icelandic landscape in the background. The sound of the water crashing down was almost hypnotic, and the spray was refreshing—just make sure to bring a waterproof jacket, as you'll definitely get a bit wet! 🌧️ There's a well-marked path that leads you behind the falls, and the view from there is simply magical, especially when the sun is shining and creates rainbows in the mist. 🌈
Nearby, just a short walk along the same cliff face, you'll find Gljúfrabúi, a hidden gem of a waterfall tucked away inside a narrow canyon. To see it up close, you have to carefully step through a small stream, but the effort is so rewarding. It's a quieter, more intimate experience compared to Seljalandsfoss and feels like you're discovering a secret spot that not everyone knows about. 🌄
After exploring the falls, I recommend driving a bit further to visit Skógafoss, another breathtaking waterfall just 30 minutes away. You can climb the stairs to get a panoramic view of the waterfall and the coastline beyond. Also, nearby is the black sand beach of Reynisfjara, famous for its dramatic basalt columns and stunning sea views. 🖤
Seljalandsfoss and its surrounding attractions were the highlight of my Iceland trip, offering a perfect mix of adventure, nature, and photo opportunities. If you're planning to visit Iceland, make sure to put this on your list! #trip #Seljalandsfoss #IcelandAdventures #BehindTheFalls #GljúfrabúiWaterfall #SouthCoastIceland

Seeing the Northern Lights in Iceland is definitely worth it.
Spent several days in Iceland, and on the third night, I finally saw the Northern Lights. It was so touching! I've heard that some people stay for many days and still don't get to see them, so I was really happy to catch a glimpse. Although it wasn't a major display, witnessing the ever-changing green lights made me truly appreciate the beauty and wonder of nature. Despite the high cost, seeing the Northern Lights is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that you won't regret.

This is the true meaning of LIVE photos! Iceland is so beautiful that it leaves you speechless
Experiencing the scenery in person 🌋 is far more spectacular than capturing it in photos 📸. LIVE photos can really preserve some of the shock and vibrant life 🌿!
📍 Diamond Beach
Recommendation Index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
This is the most shocking landscape for me. My mind was filled with thoughts about how this thing was formed 🤨, how Diamond Beach really has 'diamonds' 💎. The fine, seamless black sand beach is dotted with crystal-clear ice diamonds 🧊, perfect for photos 📷. It's just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful❗️❗️
📝 Tips: Later, I learned that the ice diamonds 💎 are not naturally frozen in the sea but are parts of the Vatnajökull glacier that have broken off, sculpted by seawater, and washed ashore 🏝.
🚗 Transportation: All the sights mentioned below are along Iceland's Route 1, the scenery is really nice, and the route is simple.
📍 Seljalandsfoss
Recommendation Index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It can be said to be the representative waterfall of Iceland 🇮🇸, a true water curtain cave 💦. When you get close to the waterfall, you can feel the majestic water flow crashing down, the mist hitting your face, it's really shocking❗️
🚗 Transportation: If driving, head southeast from Reykjavik along Route 1 to the Seljalands River, turn left onto Route 249 after crossing the bridge, and you'll be there.

📍 Skogafoss
Recommendation Index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
One of the three major waterfalls in the Golden Circle 🔱, this waterfall is also called the 'Rainbow Waterfall' 🌈 because you can often see rainbows when the sun ☀️ is out. It has a fairy-like aura, perfect for photos 🤳! It's also a filming location for many movies 🎬, such as 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' and 'Game of Thrones', where Jon Snow and Daenerys 🐉 kiss at the Northern Waterfall! 💕💕
🚗 Transportation: It's about a 40-minute drive from Seljalandsfoss.
📍 Black Sand Beach
Recommendation Index: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Listed as one of the world's top ten most beautiful beaches by the American 🇺🇸 'Islands Magazine' 🤩, the endless black ◼️ is pure and transparent, silent, lonely, and free. The basalt columns nearby are also very beautiful, it's hard to believe such neat shapes are natural. 😯
🚗 Transportation: Located in the middle of Iceland's south coast, next to the town of Vik.
I hope everyone can go to the places they want to visit, have a pleasant journey!! 💖💖

Iceland
A fairy-tale like dreamy city, where the road ends with the sea and snow-capped mountains. This is the northernmost capital in the world
and the first stop on my journey through Iceland.
Here, there are houses with vibrant colors,
a church with a structure similar to basalt rock formations,
poetic and picturesque scenery accompanied by snow mountains,
and I am deeply healed by the beauty before me.
In this candy-like dazzling city,
just wandering around can yield beautiful photos.
Everywhere the eye reaches is a landscape,
unfolding around the Hallgrimskirkja Church.
To the left, at the end of the road, there is the sea, and also snow mountains,
straight ahead there will be a rainbow road,
and with a 5x zoom on the phone, you can even capture a close-up of the church.
When you take the elevator to the top of the church,
you can overlook the entire city.
The colorful houses are even more charming,
resembling the healing scenes only found in comics.

Thingvellir National Park
Thingvellir National Park is Iceland's first national park, about 40km from downtown Reykjavik. This was once the site of the Icelandic parliament, and is one of the oldest parliaments in the world. In the park, there are scenic walkways and viewing platforms built for the safety of tourists. As long as you follow the walkway, you can take in all the beautiful scenery in the park. The Parliament Cliff, the junction of the Eurasian and North American plates, the Law Rock, and the filming location of 'Game of Thrones' are all must-see spots when you come to Thingvellir National Park!

Thingvellir National Park in Iceland
Thingvellir National Park, located in the southwest of Iceland, about 50 kilometers from the center of Reykjavik, is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland and one of the world's famous geological landscapes. This national park includes plains, narrow canyons, spectacular waterfalls, volcanic craters, hot springs, and lakes, among other natural landscapes. The most representative is the geological features, the park is crossed by the Almannagjá fault that separates two plates, which is also one of the centers of the continental split in Europe. In addition, there is an open-air parliament in the park, which is an important historical heritage of the country and a symbol of Iceland's independence. Visitors can engage in various outdoor activities in the park such as hiking, diving, fishing, camping, horse riding, and also visit some historical buildings and cultural heritage. The hot springs and lakes in the park are unique natural landscapes in Iceland, where you can appreciate the beauty and grandeur of the natural scenery. In summary, Thingvellir National Park in Iceland is a worthwhile tourist destination. It not only has unique natural landscapes but also has historical and cultural connotations. It is a beautiful and rich tourist destination.

Iceland Nature and Creatures 🇮🇸
There is no doubt that my favourite country is Iceland. This place is full of stunning natural landscapes, wonderful views and beautiful creatures.
In my recent second time trip to Iceland was an incredible experience for me as I can capture the whale in the ocean and able to see the glacier floating on the water! Those things are definitely the best moment in my life and I wish I can see them again.

Anky in Europe
Golden leaves and Icelandic dreams
Autumn in Iceland paints the landscape in a breathtaking tapestry of fiery hues.
As the days grow shorter, the countryside comes alive with vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows, contrasting with the deep greens of moss and evergreens. It's the perfect season to witness the Northern Lights, with darker nights setting the stage for this celestial dance.
Crisp, cool air invigorates hikes to hidden waterfalls and quiet fjords. Warm up in geothermal pools while the world outside transforms. Autumn also brings the chance to sample seasonal delicacies like rich lamb stews and earthy mushrooms, all against the backdrop of Iceland's otherworldly beauty.

Auroraversary!
Spent our wedding anniversary at Iceland and it’s so worth it! We’ve been surveying the journey on all platforms and trip has what we needed for. From fly with Saudia (which provides non-stop in-flight meals 😍) to touchdown. Altho it has some hiccups in terms of airport transfer (a bit rushing to chase the bus and the plane). Overall we had a great time in Iceland and the highlight is the Auroraaa! #anniversary #aurora #awesomepic #Iceland

Experiencing Europe solo as female traveler💙
Avicii's 'The Nights' lyrics have always been my life motto: 'One day you'll leave this world behind, so leave a life you will remember.'
Backpacking through Europe has always been my dream. So, I started researching a year ago - from choosing suitable countries, planning my itinerary, annual leaves, figuring out transportation, accommodations, medicines, anti-theft measures, weather-appropriate clothing, and packing techniques. I also put effort into dressing for fluctuating temperatures (from 5°C to 46°C).
This seemingly unattainable dream slowly became a reality, step by step.
Finally, it has come to an end after a month-long journey! Now, I'll share with you the fascinating, thrilling, and enjoyable experiences of my solo travel. This has been a life-changing experience for me. If you are contemplating going on a solo adventure, stay tuned for my stories.
5 countries within 30 days:
Budapest: 4 days | Austria: 7 days | Iceland: Around the Island (group tour): 10 days | Copenhagen: 8 days | Dubai: 2 days
I would say this itinerary is a pretty comfortable, chill and relaxing one.
I originally planned my itinerary to '12 countries', given all these countries are just next to each other, I was in a dilemma to choose among all of them!
Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Croatia, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and the United Arab Emirates.
However, considering various factors - including body condition, luggage, personal preferences, I opted for the first route.
Stay tune for more of my stories, including my experience, expenses, preparation and itineraries for this trip! #awesomepic #awesomepic #solo #solotravel #Iceland #Copenhagen #Budapest #love #丹麦 #冰岛 #photo #Malaysian #timetotravel #trip #tripcom

unbelievable night
you don’t know what northen light is until you open your eyes and see it.
hunting night in iceland 🇮🇸
all you need to do is lift your head up and admire the spectacular colors.
you won’t believe it.
The Aurora Borealis takes its name from the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora.
The best place to see the northern lights in Iceland is the Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, which lies by the Vatnajokull glacier. You can drive to the lagoon along the Ring Road from Vik or find one of the black sand beaches of South Iceland to enjoy the view of the lights dancing across the sky.
The best month to see the northern lights in Iceland is December btw we been at the end of november and we managed to see it 3 days in 10 days holiday.
minimum of 1 week in Iceland is ideal I think.
They don't usually exhibit for long – they may only show for a few minutes, then glide away before returning. A good display may last for no longer than 15-30 minutes at a time, although if you're really lucky, it could extend to a couple of hours or longer.
But it us incredibly spectacular

Explore in Iceland🇮🇸 ❤️
Iceland is my dream place that I must go in my life. I wish I can can explore it. Mulagljufur Canyon and Nauthusagil Waterfall is the most attractive.
Mulagljufur Canyon is one of the prettiest canyons in Iceland and It really fantastic hike! I am not an avid hiker but i want to walk around and keep it in mind.
Nauthusagil Waterfall is located north of fellow waterfall, Seljalandsfoss. It also spend some time for hiking and from the waterfall as well as additional time for posing for pictures in front of the mighty curtain of water.
Consider staying at one of the Brú Guesthouses. These atypical, square structures are lined up in a neat row in a field near Nauthusagil Waterfall.

Exploration waterfall x sempurna
Kami tersekat kat sini ja
Ada satu lagi waterfall yg besar kat dlm tu, nak masuk kena redah air dlm plak tu- risky sgt so setakat ne ja- ada 7hari lagi kena jaga diri ya- dont risk yourself just for one bloody-fool picture hee

tiada apa nak dikejar dalam hidup lagi. No more big houses, no more new car, no more hanky panky, no more stress in life. Buat sesuatu kerana Nik sukakannya, bukan kerana mengejar pangkat atau kehendak dunia yang tak pernah cukup.
Tenang, hijau dan damai pagi tadi ketika ber brisk walking, ditemani kicauan burung dan kokokan ayam😊.

Land of fire and ice
One of the must do things when visiting Iceland is to see as many of the waterfalls as time allows.
The list of photos and experiences could go on we had the best time and really would love to experience it again both in winter and summer. If you are still trying to make up your mind about visiting Iceland don’t wait just do it you won’t regret it.

Silfra Snorkelling di Iceland
Silfra Snorkelling di Iceland
Apa special snorkelling kat sini?
Ambil tour company mana?
Ada 2 yang famous, Dive.is & Adventure.is. Tapi kami ambil private tour dari Airbnb Experience sebab harga sama USD 140 & instructor tu ambil banyak gambar berbanding tour dengan company besar dapat 1 gambar je. Lagipun bila group kecil ni senang instructor tu nak bagi attention.
Berapa lama snorkelling?
Kalau tak biasa mungkin rasa uncomfortable lepas 30 minit tu. Part paling best boleh minum air fresh kalau haus.
Dry suit dan equipment
Masa book tour tu, instructor dah minta tinggi/berat/saiz kasut. So mmg fit drysuit tu. Sebelum pakai dry suit, kena pakai 2 layer lagi kat dalam. Thermal dan suit biasa. Struggle jugak nak pakai drysuit tu, kena instructor yang pakaikan especially bila nak masukkan kepala sebab area leher paling ketat supaya air tak masuk dalam baju.
Gloves pun ada 2 layer. Pakai outer gloves tu dah macam jadi astronaut.
Instructor akan adjust sikit bagi kempis then off you go.
View memang sangat awesome, sangat clear, sangat biru.
Lepas 30 minit sampai la ke lagoon before naik balik ke darat. Lagoon ni open area jadi arus kuat, struggle jugak nak cari arah tuju. Instructor bagi extra 10 minit untuk explore lagoon tu tapi time tu dah habis tenaga.
Dah naik darat kena menapak jauh sikit ke parking lot. Masa ni summer, angin sepoi bahasa jadi tak rasa sejuk.
Sangat berbaloi. One of the best experience ever. Kalau ada certificate diving boleh dive terus. Mesti lagi best.
