I visited at night. I was surprised at how many people there were. It was dark at night, and I thought it would be easier to see during the day, but it was lit up and beautiful. Admission is free until 5pm, but there is a fee after that. If you make a reservation at a restaurant, admission is free, so I made a reservation. There were many high-class restaurants. It was a World Heritage Site, but it sparkled like a theme park. At the visitor's center, there was a video that explained the history of Saudi Arabia in an easy-to-understand way.

The mud-brick architecture, traditional lanterns, and palm-lined courtyards create a magical atmosphere. Beyond the architecture, there are great museums, cultural exhibitions, and charming cafes where you can sip Saudi coffee and enjoy local dates with a view. 🏙️ In total contrast, the King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) showcases Riyadh’s vision for the future. It’s a hub of cutting-edge architecture, upscale dining, and international brands. Walking around this area feels like being in a sci-fi movie—glass towers reflecting the desert sky, futuristic walkways, and world-class design at every turn. I spent an afternoon there enjoying a coffee in a sleek café while admiring the skyline. It’s also a great spot for photos, especially if you love modern architecture. KAFD is proof that Riyadh isn’t just preserving its past—it’s rapidly building a global future. 🛏️ My stay at the Mövenpick Riyadh was excellent. The room was spacious and modern, with incredible views of the city. The hotel offers great dining options, a rooftop pool, a fitness center, and some of the friendliest staff I’ve met on my travels. The location is ideal for getting around the city, and I really appreciated the comfort after a day of exploring. ✍🏼 Travel Tips: - Use apps like Careem or Uber to move around easily. - Dress modestly and be aware that many places pause during prayer times. - Visit Diriyah just before sunset for the most beautiful light and a magical evening atmosphere. - If you like photography, bring your camera to KAFD — it’s full of incredible angles and reflections. Recently I came to Saudi Arabia where there are very few people🇸🇦 The long-awaited place "Diriyah" the ancient city of Diriyah It is the World Heritage site of Al Turaif It was built in the 15th century. It was originally the palace of the Saudi royal family. From the outside, you can see that it is a castle made of sand🏰 No excessive decoration, triangular holes, narrow windows that's all it is - There are now several museums open here If you are tired from shopping, you can go inside and blow on the air conditioner (the daytime temperature is 40🌡️) There is also a Bujairi Heritage Park "Bujairi Terrace" opposite It’s basically a commercial street with many petty bourgeoisie restaurants🍴 About 200 sand per person - I came to this ancient city wearing our country’s horse-faced skirt Being surrounded by Saudi “princes” and “princesses” and taking pictures📷 He also wanted to take a photo with me and asked where the skirt was from~ Focus on a cultural reverse output Walking here wearing a horse-faced skirt gives you the feeling of a "princess running away" from the village. - ⚠️When I took a taxi, I looked for it for a long time under the 40-degree sun. In my mind, the top1 must-see attraction in Riyadh is the Historical Diriyah, listed in the UNESCO World Heritage, open to tourists since the end of 22. Address: Locate to At-Turaif World Heritage Site, less than 30 minutes drive from the city center. It is recommended to charter a car, and the road is a boulevard full of palm trees. Open time during Ramadan is 4 pm-3 am, consumption in the restaurant in the ancient city can be deducted, which is equivalent to playing. The best time to visit: Arrive at 4-5 pm in the evening, the portrait under the sunset is very good, it takes about 2 hours to go around, and then feel the excellent night light design, experience two completely different landscapes at once, and the restaurant is already open for business after the tour. If you are tired, you can sit in cafe Bateel (Figure 12), have a cup of coffee and overlook the skyline of the ancient city.
