Amazing view of Pudong at Hyatt on the Bund. Location - 虹口区黄浦路199号 at the bei waitan Great place to have a view of Dongfangmingzhu and Pudong area, a little bit far from the very centre of Shanghai but still only takes 10-15 mins by taxi. The room itself is a little bit old but I believe it is quite spacious to the price we pay. staffs are friendly and nice, willing to help. swimming pool is ok, gym is big and nicely maintained. Overall a great choice, the view tells everything. At the top is a Vue bar , a famous bar scene in Shanghai for its view. hotel guests are free of charge of entrance fee. Though the room and furniture is old, great value for money. Highly recommend for a stay!

What if I told you that the first photo is the view from my room’s window? 🤩 After living here for 7 years, I can confirm that this is the best hotel to stay to get both Pudong and Puxi view. That is why I choose this hotel for #staycation before I finally have to leave Shanghai for good next week. This is really the best place and the best way to bid adieu to my second home. Make sure you book a River View room upon reservation and ask for highest possible floor (they have rooms from 13th-29th floor). If you’re not so lucky, like me who got 13th and they said higher floors are full 🤷🏻‍♀️), don’t worry! Come up to 32nd floor and enjoy the BEST view from the top of VUE Bar. The ‘entrance fee’ is ¥55 for hotel’s guests (¥110 for regular customers) and you’ll get 1 drink for free. Hyatt on the bund is a hotel which offers one of the best views of the city. the VuE bar on the 34th floor has a great Jacuzzi and tables next to big windows to enjoy Shanghai Skyline. The bar’s walls are finely decorated with bottle of wines all over. there are comfy sofas everywhere to rest and chat with friends. Gym, restaurants and spas are great as well. If you enjoy a beautiful city view from the top of the building, I can recommend you to go to VUE at Hyatt by the Bund. On Sundays they offer an all you can eat buffet with all you can drink beverages incl champagne 🍾 The buffet has everything from oysters, to lobster to any kinds of meet and fish. This is a great location as well for groups up to 10 or more people if you would like to celebrate your birthday. During the day, the Huangpu River glistens with boats passing by; at night, the lights on both sides of the river are bright, and the Oriental Pearl Tower and other skyscrapers shine with charming lights, as if you are in a bustling city. Every view is a visual feast, and the photos are amazing, making it easy to capture the atmosphere. 🛏️Hotel facilities The room is spacious and bright, with a simple yet elegant decor. The bedding is comfortable and soft, and a good night’s sleep will take away all your fatigue. The bathroom is separate from the shower, and the shower head has good water pressure. The hotel also has a gym, swimming pool, and other facilities, which are well-equipped and brand new, so you can keep up with your exercise routine and enjoy your leisure time even while traveling. 🧹Hygiene No need to worry about hygiene! The welcome fruit is also served with a cup of fruit tea, which is quite interesting and tastes good. The room card is as good-looking as ever, and I stole one for collection. There is nothing else to comment on, the parts I like are in the pictures.

Hyatt on the Bund is back with a new look, a must-visit for hotel lovers. I was worried about the smell after reading some reviews online, but when I arrived at the lobby, I found that there was no unpleasant smell except for the fragrance. There was some noise from the renovation, so if you mind, you can visit later. The afternoon tea is on the basement floor, the environment is spacious and bright, and the service is also very good. I ordered coffee and cake to sit down and rest, and they both tasted very good, recommended! Recently, the hotel lobby on the first floor is decorated with a Christmas tree, which is very photogenic.
