Once ashore, I was greeted by the warm and friendly locals who made me feel instantly welcome. The island is well-maintained, with clean facilities and shaded picnic areas. The clear, calm waters were perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. Exploring the underwater world was like entering a vibrant aquarium, with an abundance of colorful coral reefs and a variety of marine life. One of the highlights of my visit was walking along the picturesque sandbar that stretches out into the ocean. It was like walking on a dream, with the crystal-clear waters on both sides and the gentle breeze soothing my soul. The sandbar is an ideal spot for photo opportunities and a perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. For those seeking adventure, there are various activities available on the island, such as paddleboarding, jet skiing, and even camping. I highly recommend staying overnight to witness the mesmerizing sunset and the starry night sky. The tranquility of the island at night is truly magical. Getting There - galing ako manila airport to cebu airport, tapos nag taxi ako papuntang Sm South terminal. Sakay ako ng bus papuntang maya port. walang air-conditioned na bus sobrang init tapos inabot ng 6hrs ang biyahe kasi patigil tigil ang bus. wala silang express way sa cebu.. The beach’s surrounding is really calm, safe and truly relaxing that’s why it’s suitable for family holidays or for a short weekend trip.The island has a length of only 753m and is still uninhabited. There are no big resorts on the island, but there’s Jeter Resort that offers Tipi Huts. Overnight camping via tent is also allowed on the island. Kalanggaman Island, also known as Calangaman, is a pristine islet in the Philippines with gorgeous white-sand beaches and crystal clear turquoise water. It’s nearly impossible to put into words how incredibly beautiful this speck of land is. No Kalanggaman Island description will do it justice. It left me absolutely speechless. Already the first glimpses of the white sand and abundant coconut trees in the middle of the ocean will give you goosebumps. Kalanggaman Island offers tourists enjoyable activities like swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving. Also restaurants is not available in the island but fresh catch from local fishermen is available to buy. There are available cooking area and wooden tables for you to enjoy your fresh catch. Since, no restaurant its better to bring in your own food, beverages, and drinking water. The best time to visit the island is during the summer season from February to May but you can still visit the island from October to June. Avoid the rainy and typhoon season which is during the months of July to September. 🌊 The Philippines is a paradise for island lovers, with over 7,000 islands of various sizes. Kalanggaman Island is one of my favorite islands that I have visited. If you go to the Philippines, I recommend this off-the-beaten-path island paradise to you~ . Karagaman Island is one of the outer islands of Siargao Island, which my mother took pictures of. It is also one of the excellent water quality islands in the Cebu region. Although the island is not large, the jelly-like seawater is clear and transparent, and the tree shadows sway on the pure white sandy beach. Various colors are gathered together, making it as beautiful as a painting~ . Karagaman Island, the most famous is its trailing beach. The white sand beach, like a jade belt, dances lightly, "dancing" a beautiful arc on the crystal-clear jelly-like sea. Around noon, the sea slowly recedes, revealing this white sandy beach, trailing a long tail of sand, like a bride dragging her veil, making people fall in love at first sight. . On the other side of the beach, there is a beach that almost no one goes to because most people only play at the location where they disembark, so this area is particularly quiet. It seems like we have taken over this beach and can play recklessly. However, there are many reefs here, and various small crabs and shells are hidden in the crevices of the reefs. Be careful when playing, as stepping on the stones in the water can still be painful. . The sparkling sea surface in the waves, the blue sea and sky seem to be shining with warm and affectionate light. Sitting on the deck, the sea breeze and the scorching sun blow on the body, letting it be sunburned, but making this blue sea more profound in memory. . [Small tips] ◾️Karagaman Island is located near Mama Paisigua Island. It is recommended to charter a boat from Mama Paisigua Island, and the journey takes about 2 hours. (Transportation to Mama Pako Island: Take a plane to Cebu, then take a car to Maya Port in the north, and then take a boat to the island.) ◾️Be sure to apply sunscreen, the UV rays here are really strong, and you can easily get sunburned if you're not careful.

Because of the bird shaped of the island, it is called Kalanggaman Island in Palompon, Leyte. From Maya Port, the boat took us for more than an hour to the island. The place has no inhabitants. It is best for snorkeling and water sport. Its white sand makes it like Boracay but no major restaurants and accomodation. I walked around the island for almost an hour and enjoyed swimming for several hours. It was a very refreshing experience. Trip.com brings me from Manila to Tacloban City. At Tacloban airport, I travelled by car to Palompon which is about 121 kms for almost 2 hours. Tiring but my experience is worth remembering. #sea#island Travel#tripblazers
