Romantic Vibrant Night Stroll At The Bund Shanghai 🇨🇳

This is a designated section of Shanghai’s port along the Huang Pu River lined with beautiful neo-classical buildings and a waterfront promenade that is packed with tourists, locals and street sellers.
The bund was an amazing experience, a cluster of European style historical buildings very well preserved. Just beautiful taking picture there makes us feel like we are back to historical time.
The sea are lighted up beautiful at night, taking a stroll there can be so romantic.
Love the vibes and atmosphere there!

Citywalk Shanghai Bund
The Bund area along the Huangpu River was once a foreign concession before liberation, with foreign firms, chambers of commerce, and newspapers gathered here, leaving many historical buildings, known as the World Architecture Group. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, especially since the reform and opening up, the two sides of the Huangpu River have undergone tremendous changes, becoming the most important landmark in Shanghai. Now the Bund is also the best spot to view the skyscrapers of Pudong, especially for photographing the Shanghai Tower and other iconic buildings. The scenery varies in the early morning or evening. The 30-meter-high Shanghai Bund Hero Memorial reminds people to remember history and cherish peace, with children holding commemorative activities there. In the early morning, there are not many tourists around the Bund, with a cool breeze blowing and ships coming and going on the river, leaving a deep impression on visitors.

Bold prediction, this is the next top trending spot in Shanghai, a second back to the Republic of China era
‼️Shanghai's new landmark, as if traveling back to the Republic of China era in a second
Located near the North Bund on Sichuan North Road
An old street has been transformed into the style of the Republic of China period
Old signs and big character walls, hanging electric lights and various door fronts
Originally the filming location for Director Peter Chan's 'Soy Sauce Alley'
Soy Sauce Alley, built in 1899, originally called Lane 432
Named after the famous specialty store Zhang Zhenxin Soy Sauce
·
⭐️Guide: Location + Photo Spots
❶Soy Sauce Alley set
📍Zhapu Road - North Haining Road
The best photo spot is across the road from Soy Sauce Alley, to the left and directly opposite for the best shots
Make sure to shoot across the street to capture the words 'Soy Sauce Alley'; do not stand directly at the nearest railing
A 3x zoom is best for mobile photography
·
❷Victory Cinema
📍No. 408 Zhapu Road
A nearly century-old building, with a curved European-style architecture, classical Chinese-style overhanging eaves, a blend of Chinese and Western styles
You can stand between the Victory Cinema and Soy Sauce Alley to take photos

The bustling Shanghai Bund in my eyes🤩❤️
Attractions - Shanghai the bund and Naning walking street
😎 Entertianment: There are various restaurants with kinds of cuisines, and stores that can satisfy all your shopping needs, from fashion to decoration, from local crafts to international brands, from trendy boutiques to luxurious department stores, etc..
🚇 Getting There - it was really convenient to take the MRT line 2 to the destination. The exit is right at the center of the Nanjing walking street.
Ambience: Particularly with just one more day until the Dragon Boat Festival, I could hardly believe my eyes at the super crowds along the riverside and Nanjing Walking Street on the Bund's opposite side.

Why is Shanghai known as the City Walk city?
When the current generation needs a slow journey to relieve mental exhaustion and rediscover the beauty 'nearby', citywalk becomes popular. Shanghai, with its large and small, uniquely characteristic streets spread out like capillaries, is the deserved City Walk city.
While people in other cities are still considering how to follow the trend, the young locals in Shanghai will pretend to casually say: citywalk is nothing more than 'strolling on the streets', which is a daily routine for us.
It's not hard to understand why people living in Shanghai love citywalk so much. Compared to other major cities in the country, Shanghai has more and denser streets, naturally making it a pedestrian-friendly city plan. To preserve the city's historical appearance, there are also 64 'never to be widened' streets that have not been swallowed by the wave of urbanization.
At the same time, the capillary-like streets also provide convenient conditions for the growth of commerce. Shanghai is the city with the most developed block economy in the country, with more than 6,000 convenience stores and over 8,000 coffee shops, ranking first in the country, truly making it the 'Capital of Convenience Stores' and 'Capital of Coffee'. When you're tired from citywalk, you can just turn your head to have a cup of coffee and rest your feet, or grab something to eat.
Shanghai, this bustling metropolis, is like a flourishing and diverse bloom. The bloom is made up of many small flowers, and Shanghai has countless streets. It can be said that the bloom of Shanghai is hidden in the repeated citywalks.

Shanghai, the Magic City, is truly an earthly paradise!
The weather has been so nice lately, with few people around, good weather, and flowers blooming, I really love the feeling of early summer. You can roll around on the grass, and experience the unique beauty of the Magic City through citywork!
There are also many little romantic things to do without spending money... for example,
you can citywalk under the plane trees in the Hengfu Historical Area, visit a European-style castle to feel the beauty of being abroad, waste time in Shanghai's most beautiful parks, have afternoon tea on the rooftop of the Shama Building,
or enjoy the romantic sunset in the Magic City's version of Lalaland...
Hurry up and arrange a different spring trip to the Magic City for yourself!
Magic City's North Bund light and shadow belt
The romantic light and shadow belt leading to the North Bund Riverside is very magical under the night sky.

Delicious
The only downside: it's only available in Shanghai!
For the May Day holiday, the first thing to do in Shanghai is definitely to try the Bund-exclusive ice cream, a check-in must-have! The landmark-shaped ice cream is so photogenic, and all three flavors are delicious! My favorite is the matcha flavor, it's incredibly refreshing and perfect for summer. I roamed the Bund just for these ice creams!
When you're tired from walking, head next door to try the Bund's must-visit queue king, even celebrities like Cook, Zheng Kai, and Wu Zun can't stop praising it, so of course, I had to follow the trend and try it! The crab roe noodles and Jiangnan sweet soup are so tasty! There's also the flower-carved drunken crab with super plump crab roe, right at the filming location of 'Blossoms' at Bund 27, where Miss Wang works. It really has the atmosphere of old Shanghai.

Night light in The Bund 💡🚨🔦
#heritageplace
Every evening from 6pm. to 10pm., The Bund that located at the end of the Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street will put on a light show that highlights the old buildings and the new sides of the city over the Hungpu river with the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai tower.
When you are in Shanghai, remember to visit here or you would like to immerse yourself in it, I would recommend you to take the Ferry across the river with only RMB 2 so that you can enjoy the view of both sides from the middle!!

The Bund is a legendary waterfront located on the western bank of the Huangpu River in Shanghai.
The best time to visit here would be either in the early morning or late night! Coming here in the morning, it would not be as crowded as during the night time so you will be able to take the picture with these old buildings and the city view over the Huangpu river!!!
As an iconic tourist spots in Shanghai, you must not miss out the place 👍🏻👍🏻

No money to play in Shanghai? Come with me for a relaxing walk!
Many people know but still want to share the route
Places where few people know will soon become crowded through Ctrip...
Share some places that are already very popular
Take a city walk from afternoon to evening
Shanghai Postal Museum - Zhapu Road Bridge - North Bund Riverside - Fair Road Ferry - Taitong Ferry - Pudong Art Museum - Tianshui Love - Dongchang Road Ferry - The Bund
The whole journey is about 6km
I used to like cycling along this route. I tried to measure it with my feet and found it was not bad~
Can't rush to the mountains and fields, the feeling of long-distance walking in the city is also good

With the arrival of spring and clear skies, let's meet at the North Bund
Weekends at the North Bund offer a unique charm where history and modernity blend. In March, there are no tulips or cherry blossoms at the North Bund, but violets bloom from winter into spring. After 18:00, when the lights come on, you can also see the large cruise ships docked. This place was once an important port and trade center in Shanghai, but it has now become a modern business center and tourist destination. Grab your camera and come capture the beautiful moments of this springtime scenery!

The photo spots on the Bund that are constantly asked about, not in Paris but in Shanghai
After the first sentence, there's a break. The Bund is a place I never tire of, and I like to take a stroll here when the weather is nice. Here are a few spots where even the average person can snap a stylish photo👇

Comparing with the Bund in Shanghai, I feel sorry for Guangzhou
Comparing with the Bund in Shanghai, I feel sorry for Guangzhou!|||I recently went to Shanghai,
and visited the Bund again.
I have to say,
the cultural and historical heritage,
the modern architecture,
and the bustling business,
all contribute to the unique charm of the Bund.
Many buildings actually feel similar to those on Yanjiang West Road in Guangzhou.
But the scale and volume are far from Shanghai.
-
Historically speaking,
Guangzhou, the millennium business capital,
was the earliest commercial port.
The history of opening to the outside world is clearly the longest,
but it was quickly replaced by Shanghai who came from behind.
The conservation efforts of Guangzhou for the west bank of Yanjiang West Road are far from Shanghai.
Now it has become various wholesale markets and warehouses.
I really feel it's a pity.

When in Shanghai, you must go to the night view sightseeing route of the Bund in Magic City.
Recently, some friends from other places asked me if they want to come to Shanghai to play, are there many people?
I can only say that there are not a little bit of people, especially in places like Disneyland and the Bund, which are iconic check-in spots. (The last three pictures show the flow of people on the Bund)
Friends who have never been to Shanghai are really worth coming to see and feel the atmosphere of Magic City. But recently, Shanghai is either stuffy or rainy, either sunny or humid, and many friends from the north may not be able to adapt to the climate here.
I have organized a classic night view sightseeing route, classic three-piece set, four-piece set, Oriental Pearl, Waibaidu Bridge, People's Heroes Monument, Chen Yi Square, Customs Building, many internet celebrity check-in points can be covered, the whole process is free of charge, 360 degrees unobstructed view of the river.
Route: Zhapu Road Bridge→Waibaidu Bridge Shanghai People's Memorial
Tower Bund Sightseeing Avenue
Photo shooting route
Taken on Zhapu Road Bridge, the famous Master Bridge P3-8 Bund Sightseeing Avenue can be taken at will
Post Office Building, can be photographed on Zhapu Road Bridge
The building that looks like a monk's hat is the Westin Hotel in the Bund Center of Shanghai, which is now also an internet celebrity check-in point

There are several city walk routes in Shanghai, there is always one for you
Some places can't say exactly where they are good, but they are unforgettable. For me, Shanghai is such a place - it is both the first stop of my trip and the city I have visited the most.
It has both the prosperity of modern cities and the beauty of Jiangnan water towns. High-rise buildings and alleyways shine each other, elegant and lazy coexist. Various seemingly contradictory but harmoniously coexisting elements are breathtaking, and inclusiveness and diversity are the most fascinating places in Magic City.
🌟Classic check-in route
➡️City God Temple-Yuyuan Garden-Bund-Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street
The must-check route for the first time to Shanghai. The "old Shanghai" and the "new era" coexist. Religious buildings, Jiangnan gardens, skyscrapers, snack commercial streets, this route includes them all. If you have time, you can also visit the nearby Shanghai Museum, but the museum has many people during the holidays and needs to be booked in advance.
🌟City walk route
➡️Wukang Road/Yuyuan Road/Hengshan Road/Sweet Love Road/Duolun Road
If you don't want to go to the crowded check-in spots, just find a road to see the plane trees and old houses, and you can occasionally find some special small shops or cafes.
🌟Jiangnan ancient town route
➡️Xinchang Ancient Town/Nanxiang Ancient Town/Fengjing Ancient Town/Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
You don't need to go to Suzhou and Hangzhou, there are small bridges and flowing water in Shanghai. If you go to Xinchang Ancient Town, remember to bring a postcard, the postal code there is 201314.
🌟Second element route
➡️EVA Unit 0/Gundam Statue/Baolian ZX/Meiluo City
Known as China's Akihabara, the city with the highest concentration of the second element in China, arranging a whole day of the second element journey is also a good choice.
🌟Fairy tale route
➡️Disneyland
Disney must arrange a whole day, stay near the park one day in advance, or near the subway station near the park, start early the next day, and prepare to welcome a day of many people and happiness.
🚌Transportation
Buses and subways are very convenient, Alipay, Cloud Flash Pay and WeChat can all open electronic bus cards, or directly download a metropolis app.
🏠Accommodation
It is recommended to stay near People's Square and Nanjing Road, which is convenient for travel and dining, and you can go to the Bund to blow the wind at night.
🍜Food
Fried dumplings and small steamed buns are local snacks, and crayfish are also very good. Some special themed restaurants need to be booked, so you can do some homework in advance.

I thought the Bund was beautiful enough! Until I went to Pudong lalaland!
Hi~ I'm Heimao
I've been to Shanghai more than 10 times, and only then did I discover Pudong
This place seems like a replica of the movie 'La La Land'
Sunset, evening glow, ferry
Feeling the gentle autumn breeze by the river
Watching the city lights flicker in the distance
This is the correct way to enjoy the night view of Shanghai
Location: Xiepu Road Ferry Terminal
■How to get there: Depart from Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, take Metro Line 2 to Jing'an Temple Station, transfer to Metro Line 14 to Exit 4 of Xiepu Road Station, and walk straight to the river for 10 minutes
■Time: The period from dusk to blue hour is the most beautiful, approximately
17:30-18:30
Photography spots
Sunken runway: You can capture the city's night view in the distance
There's a bicycle lane on the left, with the spectacular 'three-piece suit' as the backdrop
The arc-shaped runway on the right is very design-oriented
There's a red bridge at the back, which gives off a great atmosphere when paired with the yellow light
Use a telephoto lens to capture the distant ships, it's like being in Hong Kong
Note
Avoid going on weekends, as it can get crowded
■Check the weather in advance, if there's a high chance of an evening glow, go for it
.The Bund lights up around 7 o'clock, you can wait for it
•The evening glow in the first picture is photoshopped, and the construction in the background has also been edited out

✨China's Tapestry: Ancient Charms and Modern Wonders 🌏
China, a mesmerizing country of wonders that stole my heart. From the enchanting city of Kunming to the timeless beauty of ancient gems like Dali and Lijiang, each destination unfolded a unique chapter of beauty.
Wandering through the cobbled streets of old towns felt like stepping into a living history book. The vibrant markets, a treasure of local crafts, added a touch of authenticity to every corner. Natural wonders, like the breathtaking Blue Moon Valley, painted landscapes that seemed straight out of a dream.
Chengdu, the panda capital, was a highlight of my journey. Watching these adorable creatures play and munch on bamboo at the Giant Panda Research Center was a moment etched in time.
And then, there’s Shanghai – a modern metropolis where towering skyscrapers touch the clouds, creating a mesmerizing skyline.
Why visit China? Because every city is a unique story waiting to be explored. The old towns offer a glimpse into China’s rich history, the markets burst with cultural vibrancy, and the natural wonders showcase Mother Nature’s artistry.

Afternoon tea with a view ☕️☀️
#shanghaitrip
What is better is better than afternoon tea at one of the bunds most beautiful restaurants? It’s is one of my top favorites of visiting Shanghai. We have much less of that in Beijing.
We came one Friday to Pop and had an amazing afternoon. Good food, good drinks and good friends. The amazing selection they served for their afternoon tea was superb and the view was fantastic. This is an absolute good place to start your rooftop adventure in Shanghai. The stunning view of the Bund always keep amaze me although I’ve travelled to the city about 30 times.

The bund
The Bund is a famous area in Shanghai, China. This area is located on the banks of the Huangpu River and is one of the icons of the city of Shanghai.
Apart from being a popular tourist destination, The Bund also has an important economic history as a financial and trade center in the past. Today, it is one of the best places to admire the majestic silhouette of Shanghai, especially at night when the buildings are beautifully illuminated.

The Bund during Chinese National Holiday
I visited The Bund last week during the October National Holiday and it was quite hectic, but still worth it.
I got there using the metro and a DiDi because the nearest metro stop was shut down during the holiday most likely because of the sheer volume of people coming to visit.
The Bund is a must visit when coming to Shanghai. The oriental pearl will forever be my all time favorite 🤩
