Lunch: 📍Haohuaicai Zhezhezhi Pot at People's Square, Cantonese flavor, taste is average. We’ve all heard of east Nanjing road and the pedestrian area there. but not many people take the time to appreciate west Nanjing roads charm and charisma. situated right next to the amShanghai Exhibition Centre. this is a great place to stroll along. walk a dog or walk your significant other. the streets are lined with canopying trees and freshly planted flowers. Snow One Ice and Snow Park is located on the 6th Floor, New World City, Nanjing West Road Shanghai China We paid 128 rmb for the ticket and that includes rental ice skating shoes plus a free disposable gloves and socks. You just need to give the stubs and tell to the counter what is your shoe size. There is also an ice park next to the ice rink, although the site is not very big, but there is real snow for the children to experience. The staff here is also very helpful and they always check us and make sure everyone is follow the safety procedures. In Shanghai Centre, there’s a particular spot that projects cuteness. Stephanie’s gelato 🍧 and coffee spot is perfect for a hot summer day. A Charcoal is a gorgeous (and expensive) Japanese restaurant located in Shanghai Centre. This restaurant has a simple but elegant ambience, perfect for a romantic date or a meeting that requires privacy. Menus are in English, Japanese and Chinese. So many seafood 🦞 and meat 🥩 options to chose is hard to decide. Also, you will spend minimum 350 RMB in a dinner, of two dishes and no drinks. Drinks are mostly sold in bottle, so add a couple more hundreds. Presentation of the dishes is gorgeous, mostly focused on wangyu barbecue. Although everything looked delicious, I went for a simple beer and a daifuku (also called daifukumochi, popular Japanese cakes made from a chewy glutinous rice). Very simple but also very good. Curry & pho for a summer evening

If you want to try an authentic Vietnamese restaurant (as they claim) in Shanghai, Saigon Mama is a delicious option you should try. Ambience is charming, staff is nice and seem to be happy in their work. My order was a chicken yellow curry 🍛. Very tasty and right amount of spicy (be sure you tell the cook how much/little spice you can manage). Bowls are huge, yet my plate looked a bit empty (or maybe I just wanted more). Pho 🍜 dishes are the most popular among the other clients, and delivery orders. A detail the surprised me, was the coconut 🥥 over my rice. Give the meal a nice taste with the curry, not sure if this is just presentation or it’s common in Vietnamese food. Pistolera is a popular Mexican food restaurant in Shanghai. This branch is the new location for West Nanjing, next to the Portman Ritz-Carlton hotel. During the day, Pistolera is a great restaurant to visit for brunch. Very little people and delicious food, during the night it becomes a crowded and fun place to hangout with your friends. If you like to consider a brunch date (specially if is a blind date), this is a perfect spot. Gives you the privacy you want, in a safe location (for inside the building and many people moving around). My favorite dish in Pistolera is the Tortilla soup, a taste from home. Any margarita jar is great for your brunch, to keep the conversation going without drinking too much. Now, if you want dessert, go for the churros with ice cream 🍨. Westgate mall in Nanjing Lou

Along East & West Nanjing there is an amazing quantity of shopping 🛍 malls. The external design of some malls look quite similar, however the facade may not fully show you the magic hidden inside the building. Westgate Mall is a fancy small mall in Nanjing West Road. It has many international brands, as well as popular Chinese brands. Mostly for clothing. In this second floor, you can find a department store for make up and perfumes. Some areas of the mall are under remodeling/construction. On the first floor, there’s a cute popular café and a piano that plays by itself, giving a particularly nice ambience. The roof decoration is extremely beautiful. Something that really captured my attention was the nice restroom only for breastfeeding women, or women with babies. This restroom had a sofa 🛋 and a diaper changing table. Next to the entrance of West Nanjing metro station (Exit 4) you can find a cute flower shop. These Flower & Plant shop offers from roses 🌹, flower 🌸 arrangements, succulents and other decorative plants for your house, apartment or office. I love how simple arrangements can look so sophisticated, specially when you add different flowers with similar color (lilac shades arrangement, pic 1). You have many options of flowers to chose, depending of your own creativity. All arrangements and flowers are fresh. Personally, I’m a plant person. Often, I chose to buy my plants 🪴 and flowers 🌺 in pots. Nevertheless, once in a while I love to treat myself with a gorgeous flower bouquet 💐 and try to plant them (sadly, roses always die). Shanghai Coffee Festival quest 3

This weekend, Shanghai holds its famous World’s Coffee Cultural Festival in Jing’an district. Therefore, I decided to go on a quest to try different coffee shops and stands. Be aware this festival is only open for three days, although most of the stands are coffee shops you can visit afterwards. Nikko and ... it’s a big shop-cafe in Wujiang Rd. This is one of the places I find more curious, not only because this coffee shop sells vintage mugs, seeds and some coffee-related products, but also cactus 🌵 (yes, live plants) and clothes. All imported from Japan, and India. For these upcoming summer days, having a nice place that offers you coffee, nice ambience, nice view and Happy Hour, it’s more than anything you can ask. There is a hidden gem in the bustling city. The facade of this Book a Coffee is small and simple, but there is a patio area inside with a tree. I love this environment, and I can sit under this tree all day! The barista who made my latte ☕️ is a deaf-mute person, and I can tell that he is very serious. The attitude towards coffee is the soul of a coffee shop. The owner and staff are also very gentle and elegant. The overall feeling is very Japanese and warm. It's also a great place for a day alone to escape the hustle and bustle and relax. Shanghai 3-Day Itinerary

This time, we chose the brand new Sofitel Hotel at North Bund. The location is convenient, and we could feel their warm hospitality even before getting off the car. The hotel is beautiful👍 Manager Jerry made thorough arrangements and provided attentive service throughout our stay. All the staff were very friendly. Due to full occupancy, we were upgraded to a suite on the second day, which was very comfortable. We also had an excellent spa experience. Overall, we were very satisfied, but the breakfast was too crowded, which might scare some guests. We will definitely stay here again next time. This time, we mainly went to see the Evangelion exhibition with our child. It was a pleasant surprise at Joy City, and the anime was outstanding. On Sunday, we visited the Natural History Museum, but it was too crowded. We also went to West Nanjing Road, which has a unique charm and high-quality Shanghai cuisine. This trip offered a different perspective of Shanghai. We didn't follow a specific route, just walked around and ate as we pleased. We also found the Michelin-starred Four Seasons Minfu Roast Duck Restaurant. This quick trip was very fulfilling😀 🏠Accommodation Recommendation

Shanghai!! Nanjing Road!! Don't want to check out 😭😭, crying. In Shanghai... a small Western-style house hidden among the plane trees!! When I stayed up late watching the drama 'Blossoms,' I was attracted to the old Western-style houses. This time in Shanghai, I finally got to stay in one! It's really, really beautiful! Like a paradise in the city! 🏝️ . 🔸The location is at the intersection of Nanjing West Road and Huaihai Middle Road! It's also quite close to 🔸An old Western-style house in the alley among the plane trees, with old wooden windows, oil floors, and a French roof, full of a strong retro atmosphere. 🔸Sunlight filters through the gaps in the trees, casting dappled shadows, truly beautiful, took lots of photos~ 🔸Facilities are complete, and the bedding is very soft and comfortable, every day here I wake up naturally~

Capturing the festive spirit of the city streets, a giant pink dragon has landed at Hang Lung

Following the Chinese Year of the Dragon, Hang Lung has changed its skin again, with a pink giant dragon spiraling around its exterior walls, exuding a majestic and domineering presence with a touch of delicate and charming artistic flair. This colossal dragon hails from the Swiss luxury watchmaker HUBLOT, in collaboration with Chinese artist Chen Fenwan, inspired by the Chinese zodiac, creating a masterpiece of artistic ingenuity. The dragon-themed spots along Nanjing West Road are really plentiful, and after snapping photos of the Hang Lung giant dragon, one can also visit Fengshengli to capture the Philips red dragon, conveniently located along the same route.

Shanghai chill exhibition one-day tour guide!! Hahaha it's on Nanjing West Road 1️⃣Take the subway to Nanjing West Road → Xingye Taigu Hui → Bread flash shop (Picture 7-Picture) is in a buyer's shop! But there are not many places to take pictures... a very small place 2️⃣Walk to Zhangyuan (about 5-6 minutes walk) You can visit their new skin (Picture 11-12) There will be new activities every time! You can also buy some desserts... There are really a lot of food here (I feel like I can stay for a long time hhh) 3️⃣Navigate to CITIC Taifu Square (about 10min walk) B1 has a Fujiya flash! hin dopamine~ Good shot! (Picture 345) Then it's the same 🏬 mall on the 7th floor. You can see Zhang Yu. Posuo's Dream (Picture 23) A fairy and artistic exhibition 4️⃣Navigate to Jincang Wenhua (5-6min walk) Go up to the 2nd floor and you can see Majira's exhibition~ (Picture 11-12) Full of vacation style... a very chill exhibition hh
