Super 8 by Wyndham Fredericksburg

The cost is not worth the stay. It's a basic room, as expected. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just okay. Housekeeping was a major issue here. They made the bed - great, but couldn't sweep the floor. Pillows smelled of sweat. Don't know if I'd go back

We took a chance, based on the incredibly LOW price for a king-room, and were simply amazed! The location is a few blocks off of Main Street, so for those not wanting to walk a mile to see downtown, be prepared to drive or take an Uber. The entire establishment was immaculate, and we couldn't have been more pleased with our stay!

I read the negative comments after I booked 2 rooms , I almost canceled my reservation but I decided to give it a try . The office has a string smell hard to describe. But our rooms were very nice! Clean, nice looking , bed/pillows very comfortable. Bathroom clean, everything was good. We will stay again .

Outstanding customer service by the generous desk clerk Renee Clark. Professional, friendly and she went out of her way to assist fellow attendees of a Grassroots Article V simulation experience. The hotel has a warm and friendly ambiance. The grounds, multiple fire pit sitting areas and swimming pools are inviting and relaxing. The room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The continental breakfast was generous arrangement of typical lobby breakfast foods. Coffee was strong! Conveniently located and within walking distance of great restaurants and the Museum of the Pacific.

On our 12 day Texas road trip we stayed in 7 hotels, some 4 and 5 star. This was our favourite! The reception staff had a little difficulty with our reservations but sorted the problem with no fuss and we were made welcome. The rooms were enormous and no issues at all with cleanliness. The pool area was good and we enjoyed the hot tub but best of all was breakfast. It was not the biggest buffet in the world but it was what I would call 'honest' and well maintained and it offered healthy alternatives to the usual fried stuff, waffles and pancakes. It's close to Main St and parking is free, no complaints whatsoever. Suggest you fix the sign on the wall. It currently reads Holida press :)

What a spacious room! Everything was so comfortable from the chairs to the bed to the unexpected softened water! We traveled here in our 54 Chevy for the Hot Rod Tour of Texas 24. The courtyard parking was perfect and made us feel like our vehicle was very well protected. The breakfast that was provided was reminiscent of how breakfast used to be… Lots of choices and hot meals. Spending our second night in the pool area… listening to the peaceful waterfall and enjoying a beautiful Texas Hill-country evening. We have definitely added this to our places to stay in Fredericksburg.
