Close to downtown, and walking distance to the U-Haul I was picking up in the morning. Otherwise, had I known literally anything about this place other than that it had a bed for the night, no way would I ever CHOOSE to be here. The room was small, smelled like smoke, and (despite leaving the AC on to cool down the room for a few hours while my brother and I saw downtown) hot. It's a sketchy location, which the pictures don't do justice. Honestly, pulling in here from the airport, I was like, ”What have I done?” That feeling only got worse when the door to the motel opened. Not kidding, I hid my laptop under the mattress in case the room was robbed while we were gone. The ”atmosphere” did not inspire confidence. The ”office staff” were moderately helpful, although they did make the effort to go out of their way to ensure that our friends who dropped us off knew that there was a no pet policy. (They weren't staying, so it obviously wasn't an issue.) The landline phone wasn't plugged into the wall, and the call from the number on the back of the door went to an answering machine, so I had to walk outside to get the wifi password. That's when I saw the ”cat on a hot asphalt roof.” I guess the only reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because I didn't see any roaches that other reviews noted. Maybe the place has been fumigated since then. Would never, EVER, pay $70 to stay here again.

Interesting experience. This Red Roof wasn't the worst place I have ever stayed... but it definitely wasn't the best either. The man at the front desk was nice enough and explained how to get to our room well. The room itself very much needed some TLC. The negatives would be: the lamp shades had grey paint splatter all over them, the outlet in the bathroom didn't work, the shower looked like the kind you needed to wear crocks or something in so you didn't get a foot fungus, the air filters in the PTAC unit were almost completely stopped up (gross), and the WI-FI was very spotty to connect to. The positives would have been: floors that were not carpet (thank God), the TV worked good, a mini fridge and microwave were in the room, plenty of space for luggage and hang up clothes, the beds were very comfortable (I slept like a baby), and the main positive was the price wasn't that bad for the time of year. Overall, I would say stay here if you can't find a better priced option within a decent distance from the Historical District, and you are not going to be staying in the room much.

So checking in the girl was so sweet and checking out no problems there either. Location is ok 10-15 minutes from downtown. It’s right next door to a motel 7 ;/ if that matters. Room was ok bathroom smelled like mildew 2 towels for 3 people. Shower faucet almost fell off in my hand when I went to turn on shower lol. There was two Indian gentleman one older and one middle aged that made me and my teenage girls very uncomfortable. They scared them as they loaded the car on the last day. Staring non stop and even following them to the stairs. Real creepy. Paid 250.00 but not worth it more like a 69$ night kind of motel

This cheap chain can not choose not to choose, the level allows you to sleep on the basis, a little better than the worst, if there is no way to choose, there is no way, India is not good.

Location is great because has a public parking lot right across. Check the map at lobby before you start walking or can end up walking unnecessary miles. Love the Breakfast and price was reasonable. Room was very clean and beds are super comfortable.
