GGenOhlsonA cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings. Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends. The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on. There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn. A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day. The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish. The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there. My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

GGuest UserThe service was excellent! The lady at the front desk specially came to pick us up and even helped us with our very heavy luggage. To our surprise, she also helped us carry our bags when we checked out, even though it involved going uphill. Thumbs up! The hotel rooms are great and clean. The two cats at the hotel are adorable, and the kids loved them. In the evening, there was someone singing, and combined with the Republic of China-era building, it created a very pleasant and cozy atmosphere.

WWLKohIt is best to reach before 6pm when it is still bright as the old town is located uphill and there are different flights of stairs up. You may end up at the wrong inn if you don't take the correct stairs leading up to the main street. It's also best to bring a day pack and no luggages as the terrain makes it difficult to bring luggages up. The lady boss is very helpful and pleasant. She also provides a simple but hearty breakfast of noodles, porridge and sweet buns for guests. Cat lovers will be in for a treat as there are 3 adorable resident cats. The rooms are tastefully decorated and comfortable, with both heating and air conditioning. The only grouse I have is that the shower cubicle had a missing door so water will splash out when showering. (301)

GGuest UserBefore booking, I specifically looked for guesthouses opened in 2024, and this one did not disappoint. The facilities are super new and complete, with smart home controls throughout – I could even turn lights and curtains on and off with my voice. The room was clean, tidy, and incredibly soundproof. The hotel is in a prime location between Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, just a five-minute walk to Hongyadong and 200 meters to Jiefangbei. Even more surprising, it's only about 200 meters from the Metro Lines 1, 2, and 6 stations. The front desk concierge service was very thoughtful and on point. The room was spacious and great, and the price was excellent.

TTECK CHEE LEEThe hotel is located right in the center of town. However, be aware that guest rooms are only on the 3rd floor; the first and second floors are currently under construction. It is very noisy during the day if you plan on resting then, though nighttime is fine. Many surrounding buildings are also under renovation as the area is transitioning from old businesses to new ones. Note that the photos on Trip.com were likely taken several years ago. Breakfast is served as a set meal at a separate restaurant located just next door. ＞ That said, the service is excellent. During our stay, construction workers accidentally cut a cable that knocked out the heater for the entire building. After we complained, the receptionist worked tirelessly, coordinating with the workers to ensure the hot water was restored by 9 PM as promised. He also helped us arrange transport. Regarding location, it’s a short walk to the tourist center where buses depart for Wulong Karst Mountain. These buses leave once full, so there is no exact timetable, but they start around 8:30 AM. While the immediate vicinity of the hotel is a bit quiet, the newer buildings across from the tourist center offer plenty of dining options. 酒店位于市中心。但需要注意的是，客房仅设在三楼，一楼和二楼目前正在装修。如果你打算白天休息，环境会非常吵闹，不过晚上很安静。周边的许多建筑也因为区域的老旧更替正在翻新。另外要注意，Trip.com 上的照片应该是几年前拍的了。早餐在隔壁的一家餐厅提供，是固定份量的套餐。话虽如此，酒店的服务还是非常出色的。我们入住期间，装修工人不小心切断了电缆，导致全楼停暖。我们投诉后，前台接待员非常尽职，跑前跑后协调工人们维修，并按承诺在晚上 9 点前恢复了热水。他还热心地帮我们安排了交通。关于地理位置，从酒店步行一小会儿就能到达游客中心，那里有发往**武隆喀斯特旅游区（天生三桥/天坑）**的巴士。巴士人满即发，没有固定的时间表，大约早上 8:30 开始发车。虽然酒店周围相对比较冷清，但游客中心对面的新楼里有很多餐饮选择。

GGuest UserFirst off, I swear I'm not a paid promoter—just a regular college student! This was my first time in Chongqing, and I was honestly pretty nervous after reading so many posts online about how hard it is to navigate the city and how unreliable the GPS can be. But staying at this hotel totally saved me! The host sent a super detailed route map to get to the hotel, which was a lifesaver. Also, the location is incredibly convenient. As a college student on a ”Special Forces” style trip (trying to see as much as possible in a short time), every minute counts. Places like Jiefangbei, Shibati, Hongya Cave, and the Banshan Cliff Walk were all basically within 1 or 2 kilometers. The cliff walk was a bit farther, but only 3 or 4 subway stops away. It's right downstairs from Shancheng Alley, making everything super accessible. When it was time to leave, I just took a taxi straight from the hotel to Chongqing North Station—super easy! When I booked, I was thinking ”as long as it's decent,” since I'm not usually picky. But the room was amazing! It was spotless, and there was a floor-to-ceiling mirror that is absolutely perfect for taking photos!!! Some rooms even have a river view from the window, and if you get a room with a better angle, you can even see the Twin Towers!!! It really couldn't be more convenient. I'm usually too lazy to leave reviews, but this place is genuinely great. The host was so thoughtful, checking our arrival time in advance and even arranging a travel guide for us. Super sweet!! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit!!!

AAnonymous UserChoosing this hotel for my trip was such a great decision! It's super close to Jiangbei Airport, so there's absolutely no need to rush for your flight. What's even better is the complimentary shuttle service – the driver was punctual and reliable, making me feel completely at ease even with a late-night arrival. Plus, the 24-hour stay option is incredibly convenient for those of us with tight schedules. The room itself was very spacious, bright, and felt far from cramped. They even offered a warm, comforting congee in the evening, a thoughtful touch that instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Overall, the experience was fantastic. This is definitely my top choice for airport transit accommodation, and I'll be back for sure!
