A cosy family-friendly enchanted hideaway in the mountains with the clouds. The whole place seems to have been a long-time passion in creating the most charming and comfortable inn from conception to realisation with both the exterior and interior decorated in either a rustic country cottage or a European apartment style from the last century. We were so happy here and my child especially appreciated the room and all of its surroundings.
Every nook and cranny of the place is excellently utiilised. From the dining room as well as the main outside eatery balcony, one has a beautiful view of the mountainside in all its greenery with butterflies flitting amongst flowers. Don't forget to check out the third story balconies and the library. Screen projector fittings are in place for a medium-sized conference. The place even has a couple of majiang table nooks should you want to play with friends.
The surrounding forest environment of the inn is all sorts of paths and green terraces going off in different directions. There is a playpark for children with its own pedal-powered mini-roller coaster and other items for children to climb on.
There is an off-site pond and ancient stone bridge nearby. One can take a short hike up the driveway and explore the diverging walking track paths. There's also an ecological technology exhibition centre not far up the road from the inn.
A large portion of the clientele when we were there were day trip visitors in family and friend groups. Big tables as well as KTV facilities could be booked for the day.
The food quality is fantastic and the portions generous. There are no nearby shops so all meals are taken in-house; the staff will consult you about when and what is on offer from the extensive menu. You can specify whether you'd want your food spicy or not when possible depending on the dish.
The genuinely friendly and accomodating staff take such good care of you and step in whenever they feel you may need some assistance. My child had a bad cough at the time, and they were so kind bringing her hot drinks with honey and offering medicine they happened to have there.
My Chinese is not good, but with a standard translation app, you're able to communicate what you need and the staff are so obliging to help. They genuinely do seem to be happy to be working there, and cudos and credit it to the owner for taking such good care of the staff that they in turn carry it over to their care for their guests. It was a pleasure to meet them and the owner.

Staying here felt like being welcomed into the home of a deeply cultured family. The décor is a beautiful, personal curation: art and personal book collection, vintage porcelain, silk cushions, and carefully chosen artworks.
Nothing feels excessive or staged. Every object has intention behind it — a celadon vase here, a bronze figurine there — and yet the overall feeling is one of warmth and ease, not a museum. The rooms are serene, the linens impeccable, and the little touches — embroidered pillow slips, a hand-painted watercolour above the bed — speak of a host who genuinely cares.
The lady boss is a gracious and soft spoken lady. She offers just the right amount of company and showed us the warmth of Gongtan residents through her actions and food.
This is not just a place to sleep. It is a place that stays with you.

Guest UserChongqing is scorching in the summer, but this hotel, Mi Tang, has a quiet and serene atmosphere that really gives off a resort vibe. The room was spotless and felt spacious, not at all cramped. There's a small pool on the first floor, which was perfect for cooling down after a day out exploring. It's also super close to Shibatier, making it very convenient for shopping. The service was warm and welcoming without being overbearing. Overall, it's a relaxing place to unwind after sightseeing or shopping, and it offers great value for money for everyday travel.

The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable; it was extremely tidy with no unnecessary clutter. The bed offered two sets of pillows at different heights, catering to various preferences. The room layout was well-designed, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The staff were warm, friendly, and very responsive. The Xiaodu smart control system was incredibly convenient.
The hotel's location was exceptionally convenient, offering a peaceful retreat amidst a bustling area. The building isn't too tall, and the soundproofing was excellent. We used the hotel as our base to explore many popular attractions.
During this trip to Chongqing, what impressed me most about the city was its cleanliness, friendliness, and convenience. Taxis were very affordable, and the taxi drivers and staff were incredibly warm and hospitable. The ground in the lively commercial districts was very clean. Although there were fewer trash cans, I didn't see any litter, which shows a general improvement in Chongqing's overall civic quality. There were also many foreign tourists.

The room facilities are relatively new, and all the linens are fresh. Downstairs, you'll find Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, making it very convenient for transportation, especially with the subway entrance nearby. The navigation was accurate and easy to use. I'll definitely come back.

Guest UserTraveling to Chongqing with two other families and our kids, booking this three-bedroom apartment was definitely the right choice! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and it came fully equipped with a washing machine, a full-length mirror, and a projector. Each family had their own private space without feeling cramped. We could walk to Jiefangbei and Hongya Cave, and there were tons of local snack shops and restaurants downstairs to choose from. The host was incredibly warm and patient. We all felt so comfortable and at ease during our stay. Highly recommend this for families traveling together!

Anonymous UserChoosing this hotel for my trip was such a great decision! It's super close to Jiangbei Airport, so there's absolutely no need to rush for your flight. What's even better is the complimentary shuttle service – the driver was punctual and reliable, making me feel completely at ease even with a late-night arrival. Plus, the 24-hour stay option is incredibly convenient for those of us with tight schedules. The room itself was very spacious, bright, and felt far from cramped. They even offered a warm, comforting congee in the evening, a thoughtful touch that instantly melted away my travel fatigue. Overall, the experience was fantastic. This is definitely my top choice for airport transit accommodation, and I'll be back for sure!

Jo TehThe property could benefit from some updates and maintenance. One of the queen bedrooms was converted from a balcony, making it extremely cold during winter. Additionally, the heater in one of the rooms next to the hall was not working, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep through the night.
The bathroom in one of the rooms remained choked throughout our stay, and overall, the bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned. The kitchen also lacked proper cleanliness, which was disappointing.
On a positive note, the view from the hall was decent, but unfortunately, it wasn’t enough to make up for the shortcomings in comfort and cleanliness.

The room I booked was spacious and bright with plenty of natural light. It was very clean, and the bedding was comfortable and breathable, clearly freshly changed. The service was excellent. It's conveniently located near many attractions like Hongyadong and the 18 Steps.

The room with the shared bathroom - the room itself was ok, but the shared toilet was absolutely filthy. I added another 20 yuan to change to a room with private bathroom. That room was acceptable
