Odyssey Hostel, Tours & Motorbikes Rental

I'm Japanese. If you are on a tour of Hazan Loop, you can definitely recommend using this hostel? I was the only one who left this hostel, but other hostel guests also joined at the starting point, and this time it was a small group of about 8 people including me. It was easy to act and comfortable. Other companies were moving about twice as many as this 2, so it seemed quite difficult. I stayed at a homestay on the first day and stayed at a dormitory on the top floor of the hotel on the second day. It was comfortable to sleep in and I could use the shower without any problems. Toothbrush, shampoo, body soap and towels are provided, so you don't need to bring them. Every time we eat together in the group, we enjoyed Vietnamese home cooking, which was shared by everyone for lunch and dinner. The amount was sufficient and the taste was good. You can choose western foods such as pancakes for breakfast. The driver of the easy rider was relieved because he drove with the highest priority on safety. There was also a driver who could speak English, so I didn't have any trouble communicating. Aside from the Japanese, it was a Hazan area where there were no Asians at all, but I had a good trip that would be memorable for a lifetime.
Phoenix Hotel Hà Giang

It is a better modern hotel in Ha Giang mountainous city. 2km milestone to downtown is before the hotel. The picture in google map looks nice. The hotel overlook Lo river. The long distance bus station is near the hotel in walking distance. The motorbike rental stores can be found in walking distance. In the city there are only two 4* hotel. it has more elevators and the staff use a separate one. It is also a Day 0 hotel before/after your Ha Giang Road trip. Another 4* hotel located in the downtown. For the breakfast, it follows the international standard. It is still like the government hotel. The hotel has some atmosphere/smell at the lobby. The garage is big for cars and motorcycles parking. The elevators can reach from the garage to guest floors. It is good to book with the Booking/Agoda. At Ha Giang, there are not many choice for big hotels. Many westerns went to the road trip and stay at the hostels. Some tour group will stay in the 4* hotels.
Yen Bien Luxury Hotel

The location of Yen Bien Luxury hotel and right centralized at the Ha Giang city. It is the upscale choice of the Day 0 stay before the Loop trip. The final day stay is upscale. The grand lobby is luxury. The suite room is big. The breakfast is the better one among the town. The city square, 0km landmark, riverside restaurants, museum, are in walking distance. The bath room and toilet are luxury. Warm Water pressure comes fast. Cool and Warm conditioner is equipped. Suite room has 2 tv sets. The corner room is 55m2 large, which can overview the Lo river and the hills. The distance to the bus station is a few minutes taxi driving. The pool is the better one in town.
H'Mong Village Resort

Nice place with a great view. Staff are very friendly. Upon arrival we parked in the car parking area and a buggy came. The driver loaded our bags on the buggy and drove us to reception to check in then drove us to the bungalow. Super cute, spacious with the mattress on the ground and a cute table with a tea set on display. A/C didn’t work too well, but the room had a great view. Bathroom was clean with standard amenities and the shower was good (hot water!). The pool with the mountains in the midst is stunning! Restaurant in the resort is also nice with friendly staff. They call the buggy dude for you when you need to go back to your room. To get the buggy yourself from your room, dial 1 for reception and they will organise. Great place to stay and relax!

I would really recommend to stay hear. The location is very nice, really good service, room is excellent and the food is delicious! We wanted a tour and they organized everything for us. Also we came very late in the night and they picked us up. After the tour we could fresh us up and chill before they brought us to the bus station. Really amazing. This was a once in a lifetime experience. The cabin we stayed at was amazing! We had our own bathroom, shower and a beautiful view of the rice fields. I can highly recommend the 3 days and 2 nights trip. We arrived during lunchtime and were greeted with nothing but amazing and kind people. The children were adorable (they love it if you bring small gifts for them) and the staff were always helpful. The food we ate was very good and of typical vietnamese cuisine. The trekking was very light. We walked on nice paths the whole way around 14km (and ca. 400m upwards). We experienced beautiful rice fields and mountains in the Ha giang region. I recommend going in May because we were the only people on the lkdge at the time and it was at the start of the seeding prosess. This meant that we saw many locals doing their day to day work witch was very interesting. The rice fields are green at this point, but becomes golden later in the year. There are many insects in the cabins, especially at night, but you are provided with a net over the bed.
