Irene from Guest Relations called ahead to ask about my room preferences and even added me on WeChat, so I could contact her anytime with requests. She replied quickly even at 9 or 10 at night, for which I'm very grateful.
The hotel faces the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge and is a 15-20 minute walk from Gongbei Port. There's a convenience store downstairs, and popular restaurants like Jin Yue Xuan and Xie Cheng Seafood Hotpot are nearby.
My personal pet peeve: I can accept a hotel not having a smart toilet, but no soft-close lid is just something I can't understand.

A tranquil and comfortable sanctuary for a relaxing getaway. I've been under a lot of work pressure lately, so I took advantage of my holiday to unwind in Zhuhai. I stumbled upon Li Shang Hotel and was completely won over after checking in. It's quiet, comfortable, and full of thoughtful details – the perfect choice for a relaxing vacation, and I had a wonderfully laid-back time.
The hotel's overall ambiance is incredibly peaceful, far from the city's hustle and bustle. As soon as you step into the lobby, you instantly feel relaxed. The lobby design is very stylish, with low-lighting and minimalist decor creating a fantastic atmosphere. There's no overly extravagant design, yet every corner exudes comfort and sophistication. The hotel's common areas are clean and tidy, and the air is fresh. My room was simple yet elegant, with soft color tones that made it feel incredibly cozy. The bedding was made from high-quality, skin-friendly materials, and the mattress was just right – neither too soft nor too firm – perfect for relieving travel fatigue. I slept exceptionally well at night. The room's soundproofing is excellent; closing the windows blocks out all outside noise, making it feel like your own private world where you can peacefully enjoy your solitude. The bathroom is spacious and bright, with a separate wet and dry area. The toiletries are of outstanding quality and very pleasant to use. The hot water supply is stable, and the temperature is just right, making for a great showering experience.
🐑Xiao qin 🐑The service is attentive and thoughtful. The staff are gentle and speak softly, never disturbing guests' rest, perfectly embodying the idea that ”luxury isn't about being showy, it's about being caring.” Upon check-in, the front desk staff proactively introduced all the hotel's services and even recommended some less-known local attractions based on my preferences, helping me avoid crowded spots. During my stay, staff cleaned the room daily, tidied the bed, and replenished toiletries – the attention to detail was excellent. The hotel also offers 24-hour laundry service, which is incredibly thoughtful for long-term guests. You don't have to worry about laundry and can fully immerse yourself in your vacation.
The surrounding environment is beautiful. It's very close to the Beach Swimming Pool, and you can walk to the beach. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise by the sea, and in the evening, you can stroll along the coastline, enjoying the sea breeze and sunset, which cures all fatigue. There are also many small, independent cafes and bookstores around the hotel. In your free time, you can sit and enjoy the beauty of a slow-paced life. The breakfast offers a rich variety, with fresh ingredients and many delicious local specialties. Slowly enjoying breakfast in the restaurant is a wonderful way to start the day.
In summary, this hotel is quiet, comfortable, and offers attentive service – a truly healing place for a relaxing getaway. I will definitely return for my next vacation. This hotel has earned my five-star rating for its excellent location, comfortable accommodation, warm and thoughtful service, and clean rooms. I highly recommend it to all friends who need to travel for business or leisure. I believe you will enjoy a pleasant time here, just as I did. I look forward to my next stay and experiencing the hotel's quality service again.

My bestie and I took a short trip to Shenzhen and stumbled upon this amazing apartment – definitely five stars! The location is truly unbeatable, with the subway right downstairs connecting you everywhere, and all the amenities you could need nearby. We walked to One Avenue and spent the day hitting up trendy dessert spots and popular snack stalls with my friend, eating our fill. We even squeezed in a trip to Shenzhen Bay Park for some gorgeous photos by the sea – super picturesque. It was an easy subway ride to Dongmen Old Street, which had a great vibe for shopping and finding unique treasures. In the evening, the Civic Center offered stunning night views, and after dinner, we enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing stroll through Lianhua Mountain Park. The front desk service was incredibly gentle and attentive; they personally escorted us to our room and patiently explained how to use the air conditioning and projector, creating a perfectly relaxed atmosphere. The sixth-floor sky garden at the apartment, surrounded by lush greenery, was perfect for photos and chatting. Plus, takeout deliveries come right to your door, which is super convenient for a lazy trip. The room came equipped with a fridge and washing machine, was spacious and clean, and had complete facilities. It was so comfortable and relaxing staying here with my friend. We'll definitely be back!

Had a great stay!
The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station, about a 10-minute walk. It's connected to 3 subway lines, making getting around very convenient, especially Line 11, which goes directly to the airport in less than an hour. There's also a shopping mall right next door, so shopping is a breeze.
I stayed in an executive room, and the layout and flow were very well-designed. Some of the facilities showed thoughtful attention to detail, and the British-style decor was very comfortable. The square bathtub was quite unique – it was great to watch TV while taking a bath. The double sinks were a nice touch, and the shower had excellent water pressure with a good hot water supply.
Room service was prompt, even though some amenities were out of stock. Their explanations and handling of the situation were spot-on, so I was still very impressed!
The breakfast had a wide variety of options, and the dining experience was good. Cheong fun (rice noodle rolls) and ramen were made to order, and there were cards on the tables to prevent long queues and crowding.
The lounge's afternoon tea had a rich selection and was delicious. The evening light meal was decent one day but not so good on another. The male staff in the lounge were very friendly and attentive, while the female staff were a bit more formal.
The gym and swimming pool were both quite clean. Overall, it was a very positive experience. Recommended!

Service: The male receptionist was very enthusiastic and professional. The female staff member who took over after midnight was also very welcoming, though perhaps new, as her operations were a bit unfamiliar. However, her attitude was excellent, and she showed great emotional intelligence.
Facilities: The amenities were well-suited for business travel, comprehensive and convenient.
Hygiene: Excellent. Attention to detail was evident, and the room was cleaned very well even during an extended stay.

I really love this hotel, it's definitely one of the top ones in Zhanjiang. The high-floor indoor and outdoor swimming pools are amazing, especially the outdoor one with its incredible sea views. The sea view rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are huge too. The hotel's buffet ingredients are decent, though the food isn't kept warm very well, and the taste is generally just average. However, the cheong fun at breakfast is excellent. It's super convenient to step out of the hotel and take a stroll across the street; the scenery there is lovely.

An absolutely delightful stay! The Wyndham Zhaoqing boasts a superb location directly facing the stunning Qixingyan (Seven Star Crags) scenery, offering breathtaking views. The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped, with exceptional cleanliness. The complimentary breakfast had a wide variety of fresh options, and accessing it with the room card was very convenient. Special thanks to Winnie for her warm and attentive service throughout; the entire experience was flawless and offered incredible value for money. This will be my top choice for any future holidays in Zhaoqing, and I definitely plan to return!

As one of China's first five-star hotels and a landmark in Guangzhou, the White Swan Hotel's luxurious river-view rooms encapsulate 40 years of history intertwined with contemporary luxury. My family and I stayed here for the Qingming Festival. Our room directly overlooked the confluence of three rivers at Baietan, with 270-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of the Pearl River's nightscape – the glittering lights of Haizhu Bridge, the silhouette of Pazhou Exhibition Center, and the illuminated passing cruise ships, all forming a dynamic urban tapestry. In the mornings, Shamian Island emerged through the mist, and at dusk, the sunset painted the sky in fiery gold. This is an unparalleled scenic advantage within urban Guangzhou.
The room masterfully blends Lingnan elements with modern simplicity. Within the 55 square meters, rosewood furniture converses with Italian marble, and the headboard's Canton embroidery pattern adds a touch of understated elegance. The bathroom features a double vanity and a separate bathtub, with floor heating allowing for a relaxing bath while watching TV and enjoying the river view. Notably, the mattress's support system is specially calibrated to meet international standards while also catering to Asian sleeping habits.
Our dim sum breakfasts over several days, enjoyed at various restaurants such as the 3rd-floor Flavors, Jade Garden, and Hongtu Mansion, all came from the same kitchen, though the serving dishes and steamers seemed to vary slightly. I highly recommend the classic shrimp dumplings for their refreshing, crisp texture. The tea quality was the best I encountered during my Guangzhou trip. Coupled with the river views from the window, it was the ultimate expression of Guangzhou's lifestyle. Jade Garden's Sunflower Chicken and Sachima remain signature dishes and require advance booking.
At a four-figure price per night, it's mid-range among the top-tier river-view hotels in Zhujiang New Town. However, the cultural value-add of the White Swan is irreplaceable – it's not just an accommodation space but a living museum that has witnessed China's reform and opening-up. It's ideal for anniversaries, business dinners, or for experiencing Guangzhou's heritage with elders. If you prioritize purely novel and modern facilities, the neighboring Rosewood Guangzhou might be a better fit; but if you wish to touch the city's memory, the White Swan remains the only choice.

My stay at the Renaissance Shenzhen Luohu Hotel far exceeded my expectations. It wasn't just comfortable and pleasant, but I also received incredibly warm and thoughtful service. The room was stylish and elegant with a spectacular view of the city. The bedding was soft, and the amenities were comprehensive, with every detail showcasing quality. What was particularly delightful was that Mina proactively offered a late check-out, allowing me ample time to organize my travel plans. This considerate gesture made me feel truly valued. From the efficient front desk service to the meticulous response from housekeeping, everything demonstrated professionalism and enthusiasm. The hotel's excellent location made getting around easy, and there were plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. This stay wasn't just a cozy stop on my journey; it became a wonderful memory. I highly recommend it to travelers seeking a premium experience – the Renaissance Luohu truly exemplifies what it means to feel at home.

GGuest UserThe location of Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel is truly unbeatable. It was a quick taxi ride from Zhuhai Airport, and it's very close to Hengqin Port. For families, the shuttle to Chimelong Ocean Kingdom only takes a few minutes. Nearby, there's Mangzhou Wetland Park with fresh air, and the Flower Sea Corridor, which is lovely for an evening stroll. Macau Legend Palace is within walking distance, offering dining, shopping, and movies. Plus, there's a 24-hour convenience store for snacks and drinks. The hotel exterior resembles a grand European castle, quite impressive. However, stepping into the lobby, it feels elegantly vintage and opulent – overall, very tasteful. The room isn't huge but is warmly decorated. The bedding is clean, and the bathroom has a separate shower and toilet with great water pressure. The hotel Wi-Fi is fast, perfect for streaming videos without lag. The parking lot is spacious and free, with security guards directing traffic. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it offers convenient transportation, an elegant environment, and is family-friendly. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time.
MMagnus HsuA relaxing resort that's about 30-40 minutes drive from downtown Zhuhai. The rooms are spacious, clean and well maintained. Pool facilities are good. We had the breakfast buffet and it had a good, high quality selection of Chinese and Western food. Note that because it is a bit far from the city area, the food selection nearby is limited and a 15-20 minutes DIDI ride is thus required. The beach is small and not in the best condition so I wouldn't consider the beach a highlight.

GGuest UserThe hotel was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Our queen room was very spacious, and the bedding was changed daily, which made everything feel fresh and comfortable. Whenever we needed assistance, the staff were always quick to help and extremely accommodating.
They were especially helpful when we needed directions or transportation, always making sure taxis were arranged for us and that we knew exactly where we were going. The level of service was truly outstanding, and I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. I can’t wait to come back again.
A special thank you to Mai and May, who kindly helped my mum and me order takeaway when we couldn’t understand the Chinese app. Your hospitality meant so much to us. Thank you as well to the bellman who helped carry our shopping upstairs and to the gentleman who kindly opened our taxi door — every member of the team was so lovely and attentive.
My mum and I were visiting during a stressful trip while buying things for my wedding, but your kindness and support made the experience much easier and far more enjoyable.
Thank you all so much — we are truly grateful. God bless you.

AAzhouaThe InterContinental Shenzhen Dameisha Resort is an excellent choice for a premium seaside getaway in the Greater Bay Area. The hotel boasts a private beachfront with expansive ocean views, nestled between mountains and sea, offering a truly superior natural environment. The guest rooms are spacious and elegant, designed for comfort, with ocean-view balconies that directly face the azure sea and sky, creating a wonderful ambiance. The resort grounds offer a wealth of amenities, including an infinity pool, a heated pool, and full recreational facilities, making it ideal for family trips and short, relaxing breaks. Dining options are diverse, with the ocean-view restaurant providing breathtaking scenery and a delightful dining experience. Overall service is meticulous and attentive, with staff responding promptly. The only minor drawbacks are that some facilities show a bit of age, and check-in efficiency can be average during peak times, indicating there's still room for improvement in small details. All in all, the vacation experience is outstanding, making it a top-notch choice for a seaside leisure stay.

GGuest UserThe room was incredibly spacious and fully equipped with all sorts of children's amenities. The cute cartoon character signs were a big hit with the kids!
The service was exceptionally attentive. Throughout the entire park, if staff saw you looking a bit lost, they'd immediately come over and ask if you needed help. This was especially true at the Wild Animal World, where they were ready to answer any questions about directions.
The staff at the Animal World were incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals. They could answer any questions about the animals they were in charge of at any time, and they were very enthusiastic.
The Grand Circus was absolutely spectacular! I saw looks of amazement on the children's faces, and their applause was both enthusiastic and heartfelt.
The early park admission was a huge advantage. We barely had to queue for the roller coaster and pirate ship at the amusement park, and we got into the Animal World's mini-train ahead of the main crowd. It was perfect!

Wwu?di?88116The Penguin Hotel is a unique, penguin-themed hotel, with its design and decor completely immersed in penguin elements, making you feel as if you've stepped into the icy world of Antarctica.
The rooms are spacious and bright, with a cozy and comfortable ambiance. The bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Each room is also equipped with modern amenities such as a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge, and free Wi-Fi, catering to the needs of today's travelers.
The hotel's dining service is also excellent. Breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes, satisfying different palates. For lunch and dinner, a professional culinary team prepares exquisite meals using fresh ingredients, resulting in delicious flavors.
The staff are warm and attentive. Whether it's at the front desk or during room service, guests feel a genuine sense of welcome. They are always smiling, patiently answer questions, and readily offer assistance.
Furthermore, the hotel features a gym and swimming pool, perfect for guests to exercise and relax during their leisure time. The hotel's location is also superb, with numerous tourist attractions and shopping centers nearby, making transportation very convenient.
Overall, the Penguin Hotel is a highly recommended choice. Whether for business travel or a leisure trip, you're sure to have a satisfying stay here.
GGuest UserThis hotel is absolutely amazing. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast is complete with fruits vegetables of a variety of Asian and western food. Great coffee. The property is just fantastic. You’re right on the beach. You have a beautiful beach view. You can sit and at the pool there’s a kitty pool there’s four or five different pools. There’s even one on the roof rooftop and infinity pool and they offer so many additional treats such as access to the Hot Springs at their sister hotel, and a photo shoot depending on what time of year you come and the people are just very warm and friendly. It’s worth every penny.
GGuest UserHad a great time here this weekend. Everything was included in the price. Seems pricey when booking but actually good value when everything is included. The beach area, the indoor water park, the hot springs and the lake activities - all were unlimited during our stay.
The staff were very nice and friendly. We met Jimmy (fluent English) at check in who made it his mission to give us his WeChat in order for us to be able to have someone that can help with translation. It made the trip extra convenient.
Buffet breakfast and dinner was great with a mix of food.
We will definitely return when the outdoor water park returns. 😁

LLLJJuuMy flight was delayed, so I arrived a bit late. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and proactive; they even upgraded me to a suite! The room itself was well-appointed and spotlessly clean. They provided a full set of children's amenities, which was a huge plus. Even though it was quite late, the butler service was very responsive, and housekeeping quickly brought up a bed rail. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the Ocean Kingdom entrance, and there's even a covered walkway, which was perfect for our early morning queue to set up our tent in the Whale Shark Exhibit for the overnight stay. The hotel breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and my child thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a shame our trip was so rushed this time, as we only stayed one night. I'd definitely consider staying here again on my next visit!
