Hotel near Prince Edward and Tai Kok Tsui,Hong Kong
Opened in Nov 2019, E Hotel Hong Kong is located in the Sham Shui Po District of Hong Kong, a district full of human touch and rich history. It is a trendy boutique hotel with nearby must-have food, Toy Street, Cloth Street, and a stroll through the streets. The hotel is just a two-minute walk from MTR Sham Shui Po Station. The excellent location is a great choice for exploring Hong Kong and its surrounding areas.

"I was very dissatisfied with my stay at Hotel E. Aside from the fact that it didn't match the price (I paid 672 yuan per night online) and their no-refund policy, I also want to share my thoughts. Firstly, the room was tiny. Two people had to turn sideways to pass each other, like two cars on a narrow road where one has to stop for the other to get by. A large bed was crammed into such a small room, with so little space between the bed and the wall that you had to walk sideways to get off. It was extremely uncomfortable. This is the 21st century! Secondly, in such a small room, one wall by the headboard was black with a large, bright red floral pattern in the center. Lying in bed, the black and red color scheme felt a bit oppressive and eerie, making for an unpleasant experience. I don't understand the designer's mindset. Thirdly, in the less-than-one-square-meter shower room, besides being cramped, the showerhead was in the wrong position and the fixture didn't work. I hope they fix this issue. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends for a vacation."

HHuoqiduofuliguangThis was my second trip from Guangdong, and I chose this hotel specifically because it has metered parking right outside. However, the parking is free from 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday to Saturday, and from 10 AM to 10 PM on Sundays and public holidays. If there are no spots available there, you can opt for the hotel's own parking for HKD250 per day. Image two shows the view from the hotel's sea-view room. The shipping lane can get quite busy at times, and it's fascinating to watch cargo ships constantly moving in and out. Image three displays the hotel's breakfast, which offers a selection of fixed set menus. The hotel is also currently running a breakfast promotion for guests, which makes it pretty good value for money. The nearby beach and Ting Kau Village are also perfect for a very chill stroll.

GGuest UserOur family of four arrived in Hong Kong from Bali at 00:05 and had a connecting flight back to Shanghai the next day at 08:10. We considered three options for an overnight stay: 1. The airport departure hall: Free, but no place to lie down, too bright, and would be noisy in the morning – definitely wouldn't get good sleep. 2. Plaza Premium Lounge: No recliners, only seats. Offers 24-hour hot water and food, but for four people, an overnight stay isn't cheap (online prices varied from tens to hundreds of RMB per person), and showering costs extra. 3. Regal Airport Hotel: Requires immigration, but offers a proper bed and a shower. We booked a family room (two 1.5-meter double beds) on Trip.com for just over 900 RMB per night.

SShafffffyI came here for a conference but brought my mum along for an extended holiday. While the hotel room, room service and cleanliness were all up to expectations I was unhappy about having to wait 2 hours for my room to be ready. I could only enter my room at 5pm. I have stated my preferred room and special requests earlier on via the app so that it would all be ready upon arrival. But to my dismay, they said the room was not ready and I had to wait until 5pm to be able to enter my room. For a 5 star hotel, i had expected more. There was no compensation or whatsoever, i was simply made to wait for 2 whole hours for my room that I have already stated my preferences. I asked if I could leave a feedback so that services can be improved, the receptionist only took down my email, in which they did not reach out to me at all. Please improve in your services. I did appreciate the muslim friendly ammenities such as the prayer mat, Quran, and halal in-room dining. Everything else was great. Just need to improve on the checkins.

GGuest UserOverall, it's pretty good. The main draw is its convenience, being close to both Tsuen Wan and Tai Wo Hau MTR stations. The room size is decent, and there's an Aeon supermarket downstairs with plenty of food options nearby. Plus, there's a bus that takes you directly to Tsim Sha Tsui, making it very suitable for tourists visiting Hong Kong. Just remember to bring a travel adapter!

MMianbaobaomaFacilities: While the hotel isn't new, it has everything you need and meets modern guest expectations. Hygiene: Clean, with timely housekeeping. Environment: It's really, really close to the subway station, making getting around super convenient. Service: The staff are friendly and welcoming. They even upgraded my room for free this time. I'd definitely choose to stay here again.

FFANGZHENG1985Great for all ages, you could spend all day at the hotel without getting bored. Outdoor Pool Area There are multiple outdoor free-form pools, complete with water slides and a shallow area for children. Surrounded by coconut groves and lush greenery, there are plenty of lounge chairs. It’s not crowded, even with many people, and the opening hours are long. Swimming in the evening with the sea breeze is an excellent experience. The pool area provides complimentary towels and children's life vests, and the changing rooms are well-equipped.

HHengniuerThis was my first time staying at this hotel; previously, I always stayed at the Paradise Hotel, which I was very satisfied with. The facilities and service are great, and the view is absolutely stunning. The only drawback is the shuttle bus driver who takes guests to and from Disneyland; his attitude towards mainland Chinese tourists is very cold. I even said thank you, and he still looked at me as if I owed him money. I hope the hotel management could secretly observe this service attitude themselves; they'd understand immediately, especially how he reacts and treats guests who speak Mandarin. The cashier at your restaurant wasn't very friendly either. On the positive side, the front desk and concierge staff were very enthusiastic. For all these years I've been coming to Hong Kong, I've loved staying in the Disney resort because you don't experience the cold shoulder towards mainlanders that you sometimes find in the city center's service industry. I didn't expect to encounter it twice within the resort this time. Overall, everything else was excellent, and I hope the hotel pays attention to this one issue. Wishing you prosperous business!

GGuest UserThis is my umpteenth stay at Discovery Bay Hotel. I used to always book a sea-view room, but this time I opted for a mountain-view room, and it was surprisingly good for several reasons: 1) It's cheaper. 2) During the rainy season, mountain-view rooms are much drier. 3) The bathtub in the mountain-view room is a standard ceramic one, and while it doesn't offer the unbeatable sea views of the sea-view rooms, it's more comfortable for a soak. This hotel has very clear pros and cons. The main drawback is its inconvenient transportation. If you don't want to spend money on transport, you'll need to carefully study the free shuttle bus schedules and routes. We took the public bus, and it was quite inconvenient since buses on the island only accept Octopus cards or cash, with no electronic payment options. However, the advantages are significant: it's incredibly quiet, both the mountain and sea views are beautiful, and the big white sand beach on the other side of the island is less crowded on weekdays. The hotel's aesthetic is consistently pleasing, and the rooms are spacious. Even though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained.

AAnonymous UserOn a Friday night, most 4-star hotels in Hong Kong are usually around a thousand [HKD], so getting the Regal for about five hundred [HKD] this time was really great value for a short weekend getaway. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, which is super convenient. It's also only about a 30 HKD taxi ride from the MTR station.

GGuest UserThe facilities are complete, and dining is very convenient. Hygiene: Quite clean. Environment: Very good. Service: Overall, the service in Hong Kong is really not as good as in Macau. There's a big difference in the staff's attitude; they're not as friendly as in Macau. The hotel itself is decent. Although it's located in Tsuen Wan, getting around is still very convenient.
