I've been here many times, always choosing to come during the off-season before Chinese New Year. Both breakfast and dinner are great, and the hotel rooms have been renovated. It's a shame the macaw from before is gone. The beautiful scenery of Xiaowan Beach remains as stunning as ever.

No regrets staying here. Staff was very helpful & organised a room change after I feedback about the cigarette smell in my original assigned room. Location is unbeatable and within walking distance from plenty of foodie spots. Loved that it was a windowless room, for me I prioritise ease of access from the Taipei Main Station and central location. For windowless rooms, you don’t have to fret about light coming in/ lack of blackout curtains or noise from the street level. 100% would stay here again!
The Illy coffee and tea at the bar are all complimentary.
The A Yuan brand shower gel and shampoo provided in the bathroom smell amazing!!
The toilet is very spacious! And it has a bidet, which I absolutely love.
The Elite Family Room we booked was huge and easily accommodated 4 people without feeling cramped, perfect for staying with elders.
It's a 5-minute walk to Banqiao TRA and HSR stations, making it easy to get anywhere 😍.
Downstairs, there's a FamilyMart and Eslite bookstore within a 2-minute walk, which is very convenient.
The friendly hotel staff always greet you when you enter the lobby and patiently answer any questions you have. Sometimes they even press the elevator button for you, haha.

Chikan Tower and the night market (Anping tofu pudding, coffin bread, pork heart vermicelli, and herbal eel soup 👍) are all within walking distance. There's also a traditional market nearby. If you enjoy a lively atmosphere, it's definitely worth getting up early to explore and eat.
The hotel's decor and design style are beautiful, and the space is very spacious. The rooms are also comfortable. The food at the hotel restaurant was delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options. I was very satisfied with this stay and highly recommend it!

The Lude Hotel is about a ten-minute walk from the transfer station near Tiehua Village. The atmosphere inside the hotel is quiet and comfortable. The public space on the ground floor is ample and well-lit, allowing guests to sit back, relax, and enjoy the plants in the courtyard. It's a truly pleasant experience.
The single room is small but has all the basic amenities. There's an elevator to all floors. I would choose to stay here again in the future.
I was very satisfied with this hot spring hotel trip. After living in Taiwan for so long, this was my first time experiencing a hot spring with such a rich iron content. The room had a great view, though it was a bit low this time. I think the view would be even better if I could have booked a higher floor. The staff were friendly and the overall facilities were excellent. This stay left me with a wonderful memory.

Extremely satisfied with the breakfast taste, it's authentically *********. The service is very friendly. This is my second stay at the hotel and I still highly recommend it!
I live in Taoyuan, but since many family members were visiting from the north, I booked three rooms for them. We went to the hotel to chat and catch up, planning to leave later. However, the hotel stated that any visitor staying over 30 minutes would be charged TWD 600 per person. I really don't understand this; it's completely inflexible. We've never had this issue at other hotels before. My family traveled a long way to stay here, and it was our first time choosing this place, but I was told I could only stay for 30 minutes before having to leave. I was shocked and definitely won't consider staying here again in the future.

This is my first time to Kenting. I chose this homestay in a daze
It is highly recommended to choose this place for self-drive tours, because there is a certain distance from the main road

AApennyforadreamA coffee lover’s retreat with stunning views of Keelung Harbor
The Location:
The hotel is conveniently situated right beside the police station and the corresponding bus stop. A minor but important tip: the entrance to the lit uphill stairs is just 10 meters away, making it easy to find even after dark.
The Experience:
• Reception: Checking in was a highlight. The floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a fantastic, panoramic view of Keelung Harbor.
• The Room: Very spacious and well-appointed. The highlight for me was the hand-pour coffee setup, complete with high-quality beans and a grinder. Sipping Taiwan Oolong tea by the window was the perfect way to unwind. The bathtub was also a great touch for relaxing.
• Breakfast: While the selection is simple, the quality is high. There are 3–4 hot Chinese dishes alongside Western options, which provided a balanced start to the day.
Amenities Tip:
If it’s windy, rent one of their umbrellas for a 500 TWD deposit. They are incredibly sturdy—essential for handling the ”crazy” winds on top of the hill!
AAihkThis hotel is surrounded by many nice local restaurants and shops - I especially loved the wet market ”You-Ai Market” next to hotel, where local people buy vegetables and seafood, ready-to-go traditional foods. Some stalls were also run by young locals offering hand-dripped coffee, crepes, tapas, cocktails etc. It's a place you can have mixed food culture.
Our twin room was specious and clean. I stayed with friends as a group trip & we enjoyed going to 3/F free guest lounge. They have a fully equipped kitchen & large terrace you can use any time to relax. Highly recommended hotel.
KKoJustinThis is a very unique hotel that is located in the Tofu Cape of Suao. It is the only hotel in the area as far as I know. It has an unparalelled view of the ocean and the cape that is also basically unobstructed. The room itself is also quite large with windows alll around. Bed was comfortable, service good, breakfast also surprisingly good, both western and CHinese styles. They also have a mini golf area that is overlooking the ocean. hotel is pretty quiet and peaceful. Even though thats baiscally the only ”amenity” or facility they have, its still a good place to relax and watch the sunrise or sunset. nearby there is a cafe kind of place that serves some light meals. overall is a great choice and best advised to go on a nice day if you can. Not cheap but i think still overall good value considering how unique it is. Many nice hotels in taipei dont have much of a view honestly so I think i would rather a place like this.
GGuest UserFrank B&B felt incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived! The owner personally greeted us with such warmth and thoughtfully provided a Kinmen map and a gourmet guide. The B&B's location is excellent, very close to attractions like Juguang Tower and Mofan Street, as well as bus stops. It's quiet yet convenient, and an evening stroll lets you soak in Kinmen's old-world charm. There are many great food options nearby, with Ah-Liang Chicken Cutlet, Jingcai Steamed Buns, and Junhui BBQ right next door. Many of the bubble tea spots from the guide are also within a ten-minute walk. The beds were comfortable. Our whole family, including the elderly and children, had a wonderful time. We'll definitely book here again on our next trip to Kinmen.
PPepibelleThis is an amazing place to stay for all traveler types. You can travel here solo or with family/friends. Upon arrival, I was checked into my room. Jimmy (the owner) gave a warm welcome along with a gift. The room was comfortable and clean. It even had a balcony where you can sit and overlook the whole city. Jimmy and his staff are very kind. They provided excellent service, and the breakfast was tasty and nutritious. The city doesn’t have the best transportation, but Jimmy was kind enough to drive me into the city and pick me up whenever I was finished. When I checked out, I was given a box of tea—a wonderful gift for the upcoming Chinese New Year. All in all, I would rate this place a 12/10. It’s not only a place to stay, but it made me feel right at home. The plus side is the cute dog, Ao Hua. She is friendly and playful.
AAloh2000There are a few routes to get to the hotel. We took the hard route but the shortest way to get to the hotel when we first touch down Beitou from the MRT station. So we took the side staircase route to get to the hotel, it was a short walk, a slight uphill and downhill slope to get to the hotel. We have to go through a few private apartments before we get to the hotel. Overall the hotel location is quite strategic, we can walk to the market very easily about 15-20 minutes walk to the night market. It is near to the morning wet market too. A lot of fresh vegetables and fresh fruits sold there. Bought very sweet guavas there. We tried and went back to buy even more. Oh yeah the private hot spring tub is also very relaxing too! Overall very nice stay at Beitou. Will definitely recommend this hotel.
Aau sze chingThis time I went to the hotel to register very quickly, although there is no one at the front desk after 11 pm, the hotel door can also be opened with a room card quite convenient, but maybe the weather is too hot, the corridor has no air conditioning, the room to adjust to a minimum of 17 degrees to cool.
The front desk waiter also had a very good attitude, would take the initiative to ask if we wanted to clean the room, and we ordered takeaway, the waiter also helped us pick it up first, and recognized it as ours.
The rooms were very clean and soundproofed, except a little hotter

GGuest UserThe overall experience of this stay was quite good. The environment of the hotel is very clean, and the atmosphere of careful maintenance can be felt, making people feel very comfortable and relaxed. Although the sound insulation effect is not as good as the new hotel because it is the relationship between the old house renovation, it is really understandable and will not affect the overall accommodation mood. On the contrary, I feel that the old house itself has a little more warmth and unique taste. The attitude of the service staff is also very kind, especially when checking out, they also sent biscuits as a small gift, which was very pleasant, and also painted a very warm end for this stay. Overall, it is a hotel that feels relaxed and humane. If you have the opportunity, you will be willing to stay again in the future.
HHolly WongI stayed for 3 nights. The room was large and the bathroom was clean, but there was no exhaust system, the window couldn't be opened, and the floor was difficult to dry when wet. The voltage issue needs improvement; several outlets were unusable, so I couldn't charge my devices. The bed and pillows were a bit hard. The room wasn't very soundproof; I could hear the bathroom upstairs, and I could hear water running while showering or using the toilet.
AAlan & Rendy WongWe booked two rooms, one large family room and one couple room. The prior one is spacious, very well designed and it even has an amazing sauna room which was a nice touch to the stay. The kids had loads of fun and laughter. The beds are huge so it can easily fit 4 and maybe even 5 for younger kids. The later is a bit worn down with wallpaper coming off, stains around the tub and just an overall worn down feel to it. So if you can afford a few hundred NT$ more, I would suggest staying at the bigger room to enjoy a good full stay. Breakfast is delicious 😋
