We chose this hotel for our Chinese New Year trip, and it was very kid-friendly! The staff even prepared amenities for children. The lobby had a strong New Year atmosphere, and the staff were very kind to the little ones. The surrounding area has complete facilities, making it easy to take the kids out. The front desk service was also incredibly warm and welcoming, and the location is super convenient, right next to Wanda Plaza, so shopping and dining are just a stone's throw away. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive. Highly recommended!

From the front desk to room service, the staff were all incredibly warm, professional, and responsive, making the entire holiday exceptionally comfortable and pleasant. This stay far exceeded my expectations! The room perfectly blended Japanese Zen aesthetics with modern comfort. The mattress was soft, and the amenities were high-end. From check-in to check-out, every detail showcased the hotel's thoughtfulness and sincerity. It's truly a high-quality retreat where you can relax and rejuvenate.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed at during the National Day holiday! The soundproofing was really good. In the morning, I thought the delivery guy was a bit noisy, but it turned out to be a wedding next door, so it really blocks out sound well. Right behind the hotel is a large shopping mall with a Yonghui supermarket, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. They even provide kids' slippers, toothbrushes, and the hairdryer is a Philips! It was very easy to get here from Overseas Chinese Town, and the price was excellent for the National Day period. As for downsides, 1. there's no charging pile. I had to go to the Atour next door to charge, but it wasn't a far walk. 2. This one is a real bug: if two people are doing any two of these activities simultaneously – using the toilet, showering, washing up, or taking a bath – you'll definitely be seeing each other naked.

Facilities: It truly lives up to its reputation as a long-standing star-rated hotel. You wouldn't guess the decor is ten years old; it's so well-maintained that it still feels very high-end and grand, completely outshining many contemporary hotel chains. Environment: The hotel is conveniently located close to both the airport and Hankou Railway Station. The surrounding area is quiet, with a Wanda Plaza right downstairs and Tianjie mall within walking distance. I'm a light sleeper and requested a quiet room, and they gave me one far from the elevator shaft and it was non-smoking, plus I got a room upgrade. Overall, the staff were excellent, except for one male concierge on duty the evening I checked in. When I asked him about registering my car plate, he spoke very quickly and seemed agitated. I took it as him being impatient, which was a very unpleasant experience. Also, the housekeeping staff need to be more thorough; when I took a shower, I found the casing of a previous guest's razor on the shower shelf, which didn't feel good at all.
Overall, it's still worth staying here again!

The hotel is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk east of the train station, perfect if you're lugging suitcases. The surrounding amenities are incredibly convenient too. Enshi Bus Station is right next door, offering direct shuttle buses to Enshi Grand Canyon, Daqinjing, and Lichuan Tenglong Cave.
The front desk staff kindly upgraded me to an executive floor room on the 16th floor, which I really appreciated! 👍👍
Also, a big shout-out to Mi Manchi (the gentleman at the front desk) for extending my check-out time to my satisfaction. 👍👍
The gym and indoor heated swimming pool are both open as usual (9:00 AM - 10:00 PM).
The complimentary laundry and ironing service (5 items per day) was also handled exceptionally well by the staff. 👍👍
My only wish for future stays would be the addition of a self-service laundry room – it would honestly cut my luggage in half! 🤝🤝

Wuhan's cherry blossoms are beautiful, but the real surprise of this stay started with Mike at the Ruihua Hotel. Thanks to his thoughtful arrangements, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room directly overlooking East Lake. This led to an incredible experience the next morning: watching the sunrise from the comfort of our bed! 🌅
I have to say, the quality at Ruihua is consistently excellent, from the Dyson hairdryer and full set of L'Occitane toiletries to the unbeatable lake view outside the window – every detail makes for a comfortable stay. Being right next to Chu River and Han Street also makes getting around incredibly convenient. A big thank you to Mike for making this trip to Wuhan such a wonderful start. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Wuhan!

This time, I didn't hesitate and chose Shangri-La without a second thought. As an older five-star hotel, its facilities might not compare to newer establishments, but its service truly shines. From the moment I checked in, Guest Services Manager Yang Han's brief yet incredibly meticulous and thoughtful assistance showcased exceptional professionalism and skill. She made me feel completely at home, setting a benchmark for the industry.
Beyond the other warm services, I must single out the self-service breakfast at the Xiangyuan Western Restaurant – it genuinely moved me. It's undergone a radical transformation since my visit a year ago. The wontons, handmade by the hotel, brought back vivid memories of my childhood, of my grandmother holding my hand and taking me to a restaurant for wontons. So many times I've dreamt of that taste! With just one bite of those wontons, I truly felt like I was home. Then there were the bean curd sheets, siu mai, hot dry noodles served in enamel bowls, stir-fried green beans, stir-fried lettuce – so many dishes, all evoking memories of my hometown. I suddenly realized that even after 30 years away, my memories of home have never faded. And then there's Jingjing; the last time I came, it was her very first day on the job. Years have passed in a flash, and she's still just as enthusiastic and attentive, zipping around the entire restaurant, greeting this guest and attending to that one. And the lovely, sturdy chef with his tall hat, busy frying eggs, and the lady chef at the live station preparing rice noodles – every single one of them is just delightful.
The biggest difference between the Shangri-La Hotel Wuhan and other hotels is that it's a hotel with a soul, a place with incredible cohesion. It's a landmark of Wuhan, and a home in the hearts of those who have left their hometown.

Facilities: This is a new hotel opening in 2025, so all the facilities are brand new. Two minor issues: the toilet isn't a smart toilet, and the TV screen mirroring kept disconnecting.
Cleanliness: Excellent, both the room itself and the housekeeping were very good.
Environment: Overall good. It's a newly developed area with not many amenities nearby, about 5-6 kilometers from the city center.
Service: Generally okay, but a few things stood out: When checking in, the front desk staff initially blurted out that I had only booked 1 night, when it was clearly 3 nights. They later corrected themselves, saying they misread it, so it wasn't a big deal. The breakfast was mediocre, with too few options. The staff even started clearing away dishes before I had finished eating, telling me to go get more myself, which was a very poor experience.
Yun Ting Chinese Restaurant 12% off: I didn't use the discount voucher. Instead, I used a set meal from Dianping for 2-3 people for 288 yuan. It actually fed 4 people very well. Highly recommended, the taste was also excellent. This was the most satisfying dining experience I had at the hotel.
Buffet dinner 198 yuan/person after discount (original price 368 yuan/person) 1 portion/day: Did not experience this.
Spa: This isn't operated by the hotel itself. I recall Westin usually has its own spa brand, but this hotel uses a third-party one. Overall, it was average, a 6 out of 10.

The parking management is terrible; the parking lot is an absolute disaster, to put it mildly. Unless they sort it out, I definitely won't be coming back.
The room design, I feel, won't appeal to most young people.
The only good thing was the Executive Lounge. Although the food selection was small and not particularly tasty, it was very quiet, and the staff there genuinely knew how to provide good service. The cocktails they mixed were also quite good.
Customer service called asking for a good review – the person's name was Yang Tian. I've never actually met him, but I'll give him a good review as he wished. Happy New Year, Yang Tian!

JJchen1This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly.
The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

GGuest UserThis hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at Hotel New Century Wuhan. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a free room upgrade. The service was excellent staff were friendly and attentive. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable.
The location is perfect, right in the city center, within walking distance to shopping malls, plenty of food options, and close to the MRT. The breakfast buffet was diverse and delicious.
The facilities inside the room were impressive—everything looked new, with an automatic toilet and a bathtub that made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, one of the best hotel experiences in Wuhan. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers.

GGuest UserThis time I came to Shiyan and stayed at the Vienna Hotel on Dongyue Road for a few days. The experience was great! The location of the hotel is easy to find. It is located in the city center, and it is convenient for eating and shopping around. Walking into the lobby, the decoration style is elegant and atmospheric, giving people a warm and comfortable feeling instantly. The room is clean and tidy, the layout is very warm, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and it smells especially good when sleeping.
The service attitude of the hotel staff is particularly good. From the warm reception at the front desk to the smiling greetings of the cleaning aunt when meeting, it makes people feel very warm. And if there is any need, the staff can respond and solve it in time. The breakfast is rich in variety, both Chinese and Western, and the taste is good, which can meet different taste needs. In short, this stay at the Vienna Hotel is full of experience. I will choose here when I come to Shiyan in the future. I strongly recommend it to everyone!

YYinyunailuozhiandongxiyiqieFacilities: The facilities are comprehensive. Although I didn't use the pool or gym, the environment and amenities are quite complete. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, and while the taste and local specialties might be a bit plain, they're still pretty good.
Cleanliness: Tidy and clean.
Environment: The hotel is very close to the Yingwuzhou Yangtze River Bridge, an excellent location. Being riverside, opening the window at night allows for a refreshing river breeze, and you can see the Yellow Crane Tower across the river.
Service: The hotel staff were all warm, enthusiastic, and friendly. The manager even called to offer complimentary fruit to my room, making for a very comfortable stay.
Aside from waking up late these past few days and having a packed schedule which meant I missed breakfast, it was an excellent stay in all other aspects. I would definitely choose to stay here again if I'm in the area.
TThe Happy HeadmasterNot bad at all, definitely not as terrible as some online reviews made it out to be. I gave the environment and facilities full marks because, despite being open for seven years, everything is still very well-maintained. For service, I only interacted with the front desk, so I can't give a full rating as I didn't experience other services. As for hygiene, there was used dental floss in the bathroom trash can from the previous guest, so it wasn't cleaned properly. Plus, as soon as I entered the room, there was an odor that was either mold or cigarette smoke, so I'm deducting 0.5 points for that.
