"We were a group of four adults and two children. The room facilities were all new, and the room itself was spacious and well-equipped. But seriously, has no one else mentioned the strong formaldehyde smell in this hotel? The odor was overwhelming, and with no window to open for ventilation, I couldn't sleep a wink all night and woke up with a headache. 🤦"

This hotel is extremely convenient, being very close to the airport, which made our travel much easier. At the beginning of our stay there were a few issues and we had to change rooms twice, but the customer service was excellent throughout. The staff were patient, responsive, and genuinely helpful in resolving everything quickly. The amenities were a big plus the gym was well-equipped, and the free laundry service was very convenient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a very good buffet offering plenty of options. Overall, despite the initial hiccups, the great service and facilities made this a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would happily stay again.

This hotel is wonderful, beds and rooms are very comfortable and spacious. The staff were exceptional kind, especially Claire Shang, who was working at the front desk. She speaks fluent English and a number of the staff know English as well. Every time I have family or friends visit me, I get them a room at this hotel. Can’t recommend it enough. Plus the breakfast is cheap but yummy, and you can order specific dishes you want like an omelette or scrambled eggs. Plus local Chinese dishes. Also they have a cute robot that can bring amenities to your room if you need them.

The room was spacious and met all our basic needs. The executive lounge offered great views, and the light meals there were perfectly adequate. Breakfast was really good and varied, and the pool and gym facilities were excellent with convenient operating hours. My only minor complaint was finding a used tissue in the toilet when I first entered the room. Overall, I'd still recommend it.

This hotel/retreat is an incredibly special place, and I feel so grateful to have come across it in my travels, as it will hold a special place in my memory! I have a strong feeling that I will be back (possibly many times!) in the future. I cannot say enough good things about it, whether it be the beautiful architectural design of the buildings and landscaping of the property, the gorgeous cafe, the zen-like room aesthetic, the calm and nourishing atmosphere of the whole place, the incredibly kind staff, and the nourishing and delicious food (which is made with great attention and care paid to the ingredients (most of which are grown on the farm), and their healing principles according to the elements and Chinese medicine nutrition)). There are free evening healing offerings too, including sound healing, card reading, and other thing, which bring guests together to experience collectively as well, in a beautiful retreat center room. The cafe/lobby building is such a pretty and welcoming space, one could easily spend hours enjoying a conversation or reading a book, or petting one of the many adorable cats that roam the property. Even walking along the meandering path to the hotel from the main road is a beautiful experience, winding through tea fields in this magical valley at the base of steep mountains surrounding it. I have stayed at a number of hotels in China during my travels, but this place is by far my favorite of all of them, for its authentic feel and heartfelt warmth. It truly is a uniquely powerful place for healing and restoration, nestled in such a picturesque, quiet hillside of Wudang mountain!!

This is an established five-star hotel with a great location. Parking is convenient, and it's right next to a subway station and MixC shopping mall. The environment and service are both excellent! My international business partners were also very satisfied with their stay. It's an excellent choice for business travelers!

The river view room offers an unbeatable view of the river, with the Yellow Crane Tower visible across the water. The hotel was fully booked on the day we checked in, but the hotel butler was incredibly thoughtful and reserved a high-floor river view room for us. The bathroom vanity is a bit small, and some of the facilities are a bit dated, but the cleanliness is excellent. The biggest surprise was the night market and the 'liangxia' (a local dessert) shop not far from the hotel entrance.

There's a large shopping mall nearby, which is really convenient for shopping. They also offer free shuttle service to and from Wuhan Station. Plus, it's just a few minutes' walk to Metro Line 5, making it super easy to get around. The breakfast is pretty good too.

We were a family of three traveling, and we had originally booked a deluxe river view room, but it was upgraded to a cloud river view room. After speaking with the front desk manager, they also provided an extra breakfast for our child. The room had a great view and new facilities. We had initially only booked one night for the 23rd, and had return high-speed train tickets for 2 PM on the 24th. However, after visiting the Three Gorges Dam this morning, we felt too rushed, so we immediately changed our train tickets. We then spoke with Manager Hu at the front desk to extend our stay for another night. We kept the same room, received a discount, and another complimentary breakfast, which was very nice. The Chinese restaurant on the second floor of the hotel has group purchase packages that are very good value and the food is delicious. Yesterday, we arrived back late and our child wanted to go swimming, but we were worried the restaurant would close. After speaking with Manager Hu, they arranged for the restaurant to prepare our dishes in advance. We ended up dining until past 9:40 PM, which was after their closing time of 9:30 PM, but the restaurant staff were still very enthusiastic. The breakfast selection was quite varied, and the pool on the fourth floor was clean, as was the 24-hour gym. However, I have a small suggestion: the hotel's toilet paper could be upgraded as it's a bit thin and doesn't quite match the hotel's quality. Overall, our entire family was very satisfied and had a great experience. We will definitely choose Marriott Group brands again in the future!

The high-altitude view is excellent, the night view of the city outside the floor-to-ceiling windows is panoramic, and the lights are full. The room is clean and comfortable, the service is intimate, leaning on the window to watch the sunset into the night in the evening, the stay experience is super healing, I will choose this one next time!

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! My last stay at a Ritz-Carlton was years ago at the Pudong location, and I understand this Wuhan branch is currently the newest Ritz-Carlton in China. We headed straight here after getting off the high-speed train and arrived in just half an hour. Since check-in is on the 46th floor, the concierge in the ground-floor lobby took our luggage, allowing us to go upstairs hands-free. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and every staff member we encountered was wonderfully friendly and welcoming. Our room, over 50 square meters, felt spacious enough for our family of three. The hardware and amenities are, as expected, top-notch – the Ritz-Carlton has been a leader in Chinese luxury hotels for a long time. What truly stands out is how perfectly everything is executed. My wife particularly loved the Diptyque Fig scented toiletries, and as a soap enthusiast, I was quite taken with the small bar soaps. Our stay was for three nights and four days. Breakfast was served in the Western restaurant on the 46th floor. The restaurant boasts high ceilings and offers a stunning 180-degree view of Wuhan city, with window seats providing a distant view of the Yangtze River. The food selection was incredibly rich and exquisite; I especially enjoyed the unlimited Spanish ham – good thing we only stayed three days, or I'd have gained a ton of weight! In the evenings, my daughter enjoyed the rooftop pool. The tranquil atmosphere made even just sitting on a lounge chair by this 'cloud-top' pool an extraordinary experience. This short holiday was made truly special by the Ritz-Carlton. It certainly lives up to its reputation as the city's premier luxury hotel. On our last day, after check-out, a staff member thoughtfully gave me our room card as a small souvenir. This, along with the little lobster lion plushie my daughter received, will be important mementos of our trip to Wuhan. I hope to stay here again. A huge thank you to every staff member here – you truly embody the 'Ladies and Gentlemen' of the Ritz-Carlton!
