Wonderful property for a vacation! Had a perfectly relaxing stay with top-tier amenities. The food quality was amazing, and the overall service was very smooth. I am deeply impressed by the staff's professional and kind behavior.

I stayed one night with my husband to stop over to the next place. The location is super good, it is near the airport. You can enjoy variety of meals inside the hotel and outside too.

The welcome begins with a traditional blessing ceremony, followed by fresh juice, sweets, and water. Everyone makes you feel genuinely looked after. The spa was very good, but the highlight of my stay was definitely breakfast. It is, without question, the best hotel breakfast I have experienced. The variety of choices is outstanding, the service is exceptional, and even the use of technology—a serving robot—adds a fun touch without taking away from the hospitality. There is one area that could be improved: cleaning . I found a hair in the bathtub, and the divan behind the cushions was dusty and hadn’t been cleaned properly. Next time, I will check the room when I arrive and ask for anything that needs attention to be cleaned. Despite that, I would happily stay at The Roseate again. The hotel is a decent property located at a prime location in New Delhi. The rooms are a tad bit small and look a little dated. The house keeping team does a fantastic job of cleaning up each day and it feels good to be back to a well made bed and clean room after a long work day. The key cards seem to be a recurring issue with them needing repeated activation. Breakfast spread is decent and not much to brag about. In room dining is pretty expensive and is quite a deterrent. But the location helps to overlook a lot of the minor inconveniences.

My review would be based on my 4-day stay and will only be fair and square. The hotel is located in a bsuy area of main bazaar, so expect noisy neighborhood with honking cars and shouting people. The place is not that secure, if that is your concern. The hotel is in a neighborhood of slums (yes, i explored the inner streets and alleys). The hotel though is decent, good value for your money. Transportation is a bit difficult (especially if you will book indrive or uber) since it is a busy and narrow street, cars and motorbikes don't go much often there (they get stuck in traffic). The hotel room is okay. I booked a double room (i am a solo traveler but i want a big bed). They put two single beds together, so i can't really sleep in the middle because i sink in. The room is small. When I arrived, i was greeted by three medium sized cockroaches -two in the bedside table and one in bed. I managed to kill them though :-). Shower water is not always available. You can order food 24/7, and it was tasty (the falafel however is salty).. i paid roughly 100 usd for my stay. Internet connection is fast and reliable but you need to log-in everytime you get disconnected. Secutiry of the hotel itself is lax. In fact, they have a notice that THEY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THEFT WHATSOEVER, EVEN IF THE THINGS ARE STOLEN IN YOUR ROOM :-)... Visitors are not allowed. They provide airport pick-up and drop-off but the same is too costly (10usd) but in-app booking is only half the price (and even less). Hotel staff are willing to help you anytime foof the day - for a price. They always ask for tip (as in always).... Their tours are relatively competitive and at par with other providers. Breakfast is bad (i forced myself to finish the pancake, bread and omelette). The utensils, plates and glasses were dirty (watermarked in the glasses). They provide electric kettle in the room but no coffee or tea provided, nor mugs. Pillows and bed were soft, aircon is good but television not much choices. The only english content is the news. Will i recommend this hotel to friends? Yes if on tight budget. Otherwise, find a better one.

We stayed for a night where was a comfy stay after stayed in the scam hotel (Hotel Emerald). The location is convenient as it’s nearby the airport. The security, front line & restaurant staff provide good services with smiles. You also can go to food court nearby with different food choices. Highly recommended

The Taj Mahal Delhi is a beautiful hotel with splendid decor and an old school ambience. However, some of the underlying cost cutting is noticeable. The breakfast buffet for example is anything but - with a handful of items such as bread and rudimentary cereal laid out but anything substantial needs to be ordered and it arrives in due time in small portions. It's awkward to know how many times can one order in the circumstances. Another example occured when I changed some currency at the hotel. I expected the rate to be bad and it was, but this was not an issue. I am happy to pay for luxury and convenience. However, what irked me slightly was when the staff explained that there was no change so she couldn't give me 60 INR. It's a very small amount but I felt it was a liberty - imagine offering currency exchange at an exorbitant rate but you don't have currency. Other than that we had a good stay. The pool was stunning as was my beautiful club suite. It was a very generous size and beautifully designed with views over the pool and Delhi beyond - a real oasis in noisy and bustling Delhi. The club lounge is ok but not really worth paying for - the timings for high tea etc are so inconvenient that you won't be able to use them. Overall, this was still a good stay and probably the best hotel for the price in this part of town.

The hotel is certainly clean, and the staff are polite. However, at this price, I was surprised there wasn't even a private bathroom. The fact that Wi-Fi required free member registration was also inconvenient. The buffet was luxurious with a wide variety of dishes, but the variations were all Indian cuisine. There were breads, but no rice, just curries and naan. Since there were croissants and bacon, Western food wasn't an issue. Also, the laundry service is absolutely not recommended. They didn't tell me the price beforehand, and I was charged 4000 yen when it was done. The phone service was also poor. It's a good hotel, but for this price, I feel there should be more services. As it was my first time in India, I don't know the standard, but perhaps this is normal for India?

I requested a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room. There was a clear smell of smoke upon entering, and an ashtray with matches was on the table. Since I arrived late at night, I couldn't be bothered to switch rooms. The location is excellent, which is a significant plus.

This property has an excellent location with close proximity to shopping, dining & tourism. Restaurant has great food selection (buffet with many cook to order stations). Chef Nazir is great & extremly accommodating to special request overall wonderful service. Staff in all areas is well trained & shows 1st class hospitality. Only re commendation is to fix the glass doors of the bathrooms in the rooms. They have big gaps leading to lack of privacy. This should be on a priority list for the hotel management to address. Overall a great hotel!
