I'll remember this day for a long time! I'll list the positive aspects: the bus picked us up on time, the air conditioning was on and it was very warm, and our guide, Jessie, was very kind and helpful! She speaks very good English! She explains everything very interestingly and in detail! I highly recommend coming here; we really enjoyed it!ā

Amazing! Our tour guide, Jay, was great! Fluent English, great explanation, very helpful when you have questions. One of the best tour guides Iāve had so far since arriving in China. The places we visited are also beautiful. But since weāre trying to squeeze everything into 1 day, obviously, you wonāt have detailed history of each place. Jay did his best though IMO. The lunch was also good. Got to taste åäŗ¬ē¤éø (Beijing duck), Kungpao chicken, and plenty other dishes (canāt remember the name though).ā

Many thanks to our tour guide, Liu Qian, for her unwavering companionship and patient explanations throughout the trip. The experience was superb; her narration truly possessed a subtle, pervasive quality. She patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions, from the age of the buildings to their historical stories. Even more remarkable was her ability to break down complex history into something light and engaging, explaining the details of the artifacts in the simplest language possible. Along the way, we not only saw the scenery but also gained a deeper understanding of the stories behind it. Such professionalism and patience deserve full marks!ā

Today's guided tour of the Temple of Heaven was a perfect experience! The guide was incredibly knowledgeable, meticulously explaining the architectural aesthetics and acoustic wonders of the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and the Circular Mound Altar, and captivatingly recounting the ritual procedures of the Ming and Qing dynasties' sacrificial rites to Heaven and the underlying philosophy of "harmony between Heaven and humanity." The guide spoke at a moderate pace throughout, was enthusiastic, and catered to both the elderly and children, proactively answering questions without any pressure to make purchases. What I initially thought would be just a stroll through a park turned into an immersive cultural feast. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone visiting the Temple of Heaven!ā

Brown was an excellent tour guide, at the beginning of the tour he explained the historical context of the Great Wall, and after that guided us to where we should go. For those that bought the slide tickets and for those that chose the cable car. I was able to go to both extreme sides of the wall with the time given, so there is plenty of time at the Great Wall. However, I would recommend exploring the cable car side first since it is more accessible. Brown also gave a guided tour at the Summer Palace which was very comprehensive and detailed. Then we were given about an hour to explore the Palace and buy some souvenirs/food. Overall, pretty satisfied with the tour.ī„
