We went on a family outing on Easter Monday. It was a lovely trip, full of interesting information and sunshine on the open-top bus. We're familiar with Karlsruhe, so there wasn't much new there. My 93-year-old mother was thrilled. All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon.

I traveled using a Eurail pass. It was cheaper than other sites, including points redemption, so I used it. I recommend it if you travel long distances a lot. I'll definitely consider it for my next trip to Europe.
