Belle Island is located on the Detroit River on the border between the United States and Canada. In summer, many people come to the island for leisure. It has a very original natural landscape and is one of the largest island parks in the United States. In winter, flocks of migratory birds, such as Canada geese, can be seen on the island. The mainland here is wide and the Canadian border is very close. Many black people like to come here for racing, but it needs to be reminded that there are some security problems here, and tourists need to be vigilant.Detroit · 6km from downtown

Fisherman Building, built in 1928, is an artistic building designed by the famous designer Albert Kahn. The building is extravagant and seems a little out of place in the city of Detroit, but it does the job of dividing Metro Detroit from its suburbs. Greenfield Village is located in the Henry Ford Museum, a historical museum about the development of agriculture and technology in the United States. There is a tulip garden, windmills in the garden, and houses. And one of them is a copy of Henry Ford's friend Edison's laboratory in New Jersey, which is very interesting. In this village-like outdoor museum, you can also experience riding in a Ford Model T. After visiting here, visit the nearby Ford Motor Museum, which can give you a deeper understanding of Ford's car brand.Dearborn · 15.6km from Detroit

I ended up here because I had time to spare and they mentioned on their site that they did tours. I always prefer tours over just wandering around as usually on sites like this, you don't have any idea what you're seeing.First of all, the full grounds of the Fort are quite big and only a small part of it has been completely restored. Most of it desperately needs restoration. The volunteers on site are fully aware of this but there is only so much they can do with the people and money they have.
