Things to do in Ebian

The scenery is beautiful, at an altitude of about 2000 meters. There's a 3-kilometer-long, gently sloping wooden boardwalk with almost no steep inclines, perfect for a leisurely stroll. The still lake reflects the surrounding scenery, and meadows and pastures dot the hillsides with cattle and horses – a truly therapeutic spot for photos. No strenuous hiking is required, making it easy for seniors and children to enjoy. The area boasts a high concentration of negative oxygen ions.

Trains departing from and arriving at the high-speed rail station don't start until after 8 AM. If you're leaving in the morning, I recommend going to Baoguo Temple or Huangwan. Leidongping is under renovation and extremely crowded with limited ticket sales, so be sure to buy your tickets in advance.

Mali Lengjiu is one of the two scenic spots open in the huge Heizhugou Scenic Area in Ebian County, but it is the most worthwhile alpine meadow beauty. The scenic area is located in a mountainous area at an altitude of about 2,000 meters, covering an area of ​​more than 2,000 acres. It is a natural swamp. Because it is surrounded by high mountains, the middle is flat, the area is wide, and the vision is wide, it enjoys the reputation of "alpine plain". Standing in the center of the meadow and looking around, the mountains are green, the mountains behind are steep and tall, the trees are lush, and the nearly 1,000 acres of flat land in the center make the scene spectacular.

Jinkou Grand Canyon is actually a section of the Dadu River Geopark within the Jinkou River. It features a reservoir and dam, a waterway highway and a suspension bridge, cliffside villages and a railway corps museum. The cliffs on the banks are colorful, and the rushing water below reflects the emerald green. The majestic beauty and grandeur of Jinkou Grand Canyon are truly breathtaking!

There are two cable car lines to the Golden Summit. Line 1 is for standing passengers, with a capacity of 100 people per line. Line 2 is for sitting passengers, with a capacity of 6 people per line. Line 2 only goes up in the morning, not down. It is recommended to take Line 2 to go up the mountain and Line 1 to go down.

Great! Fun and delicious food! Long live Mount Emei! The cable car staff were attentive and helpful. The mountain was completely shrouded in fog, making it impossible to see the sunrise. It was quite nice though, as the sun didn't come out until noon. I saw the sun and each individual sun.

This itinerary is suitable for families with elderly members or children; it's relatively easy, and there are designated rest areas on the mountain. The Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area definitely deserves five stars; it's worth visiting countless times.

Transportation from Chengdu to Dujiangyan is very convenient; a 30-minute high-speed train ride costs only 10 yuan. Many people visit Dujiangyan to witness this magnificent water conservancy project firsthand and experience firsthand this millennium-old water engineering marvel. The river flows mightily, and the Fish Mouth and Flying Sand Weir are masterpieces of engineering. It's not just about beautiful scenery, but also about the great wisdom of the ancients. We entered through the main gate, and the entire route is accessible without any uphill climbing, allowing for a leisurely stroll through the scenic area where history and nature blend seamlessly.

If you like scenery paired with cultural / religious aspects, I can recommend to visit this place. Beautiful mountain area with flush forests and a walk up the mountain that lets you visit many Taoist temples on the way. There is also a cable way (rather inexpensive) that can help you either up or down or both ways. As most people take the cableway up and walk down (which is the anti clockwise way), I can recommend walking up and taking the cableway down. Why? Because this way you have less people walking your way plus I feel walking down the steep steps may hurt your knees. If you hike the way down, would suggests to buy the bamboo sticks outside the park (2 yuan). If you decide to walk up, the sticks might be rather a hurdle than helping. I would go again, as every day the light anf views are different.
