Reviews: From Aswan: Abu Simbel Temple Day Trip with Hotel Pickup
Guest User2026-05-20
After visiting the pyramids in Cairo, I arrived in Aswan and proceeded with the Abu Simbel tour. I confirmed my reservation and received instructions via NICE TOURS, and on the day of the tour, I met with our guide, George, and the driver at 3:30 AM to begin. Since it was an early morning tour, I felt a physical strain and lacked sleep; however, thanks to the thoughtful consideration of our guide, George, the driver's quiet driving, and the simple breakfast of bread, juice, and bottled water provided, I was able to enjoy a comfortable journey. Upon arriving at Abu Simbel and seeing the massive stone statues and paintings inside, I could not help but marvel at ancient Egyptian civilization. After the two-hour tour, I was able to return to my accommodation without worry during the long journey back to Aswan, thanks to the travel agency's attention and the guide's care. If you are looking for an Abu Simbel tour, I believe you can trust George and NICE TOURS for a wonderful experience. Thank you, George and NICE TOURS.
Reviews: Sailing Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor for 3 Nights
Guest User2026-05-16
We took a three-night Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Overall, we enjoyed the trip: beautiful views, interesting temples, and good organization. The Zeina is a decent boat: not new, but acceptable. The food is good, and the staff is polite. There's a pool on the upper deck and a beautiful view of the Nile while sailing. In terms of cleanliness, it's worth giving a discount to Egypt: the standard is below average, but overall acceptable. We enjoyed the excursions. We had comfortable transfers, a good guide, Mido, in Aswan, and a decent guide, Ahmed, in Luxor. The temples are very beautiful and interesting. What's important to keep in mind: there are early morning wake-ups between 3 and 5 AM almost every day. Entrance fees are not included, and drinks on the boat are extra. You'll also need to budget for tips/baksheesh: drivers, guides, and cruise staff will receive these, plus an envelope for the crew upon check-out. On the downside, the hot air balloon ride in Luxor was canceled due to weather. This wasn't the organizers' fault, but we were counting on it. Overall, I enjoyed the cruise. Just be prepared for early wake-ups and extra charges.

Reviews: 3 Night Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Private Guided Tours

First, be aware that tour companies don't contact you until the last minute. As a result, I had to cancel the tour I booked through Viator at the last minute and rebook through Trip.com. Regarding the items requiring payment on-site, the information listed on the website differed from what the tour company told me when I got there. Thanks to persistent negotiation and evidence, I was able to get the payment waived, but it's important to save the link and take screenshots. Other participants also had various issues, but the places we visited were amazing. It's important to consider these issues as a valuable part of traveling to Egypt and allow yourself time to enjoy the experience. If you can't afford it, I recommend a tour with a tour guide rather than a local tour. This tour involved meeting the guide at each ruin.
