Reviews: Into the Glacier: Snowmobile + Langjökull Ice Tunnel Combo

The female guide in the tunnel and leading us on the snowmobile was knowledgeable and has a good sense of humour. She even sang (very well!) for us in the tunnel to experience the acoustic effect of the tunnel. Minus a star for transport as the bus which brought us from the meeting point to the site where we gear up to go up the glacier was terrible. It was a very old bus which smelled really bad. The drive over involves crossing a long stretch of dusty road. Despite being in a supposed enclosed bus, we could feel the dust coming into the bus. It was a highly unpleasant experience. And there was no instructions or anyone to tell us what to do or where to go once they drop us off at the entrance of the glacier. This is definitely an area for improvement.

The bus was on time, the hot spring environment was beautiful, and it wasn't too crowded, which made it a lovely experience.
