Arriving in Beijing on New Year's Eve, luckily the roads were all clear. Even the tour guide was remarking how quickly we got to the hotel; it seems traffic jams are a major problem in Beijing. Fortunately, the weather was also on our side during our trip – no smog. It was really great! We stayed in a nice five-star hotel, and had a wonderful New Year.★

It was a fantastic day trip! Our bus driver and guide (Barry?) drove very carefully, took plenty of breaks, and provided lots of interesting information during the journey. His English was also very easy to understand, which made the long journeys fly by. The music selection was also excellent. Thank you so much for this wonderful tour!★

It's a very small island, so it's never crowded. Even when the hotel is almost full, you'll rarely encounter other guests, except during mealtimes when everyone gathers at the single restaurant. You can go directly down to the coral reef from your room for snorkeling—it's peaceful and convenient.
