ESIM is incredibly smooth to use. I bought a 30-day European ESIM, and my first stop upon arrival was Istanbul. Everything works fine in Europe. We flew via Turkey, but for it to work properly in Turkey, you need to install a SIM card in advance. Those who didn't do this in advance had connection problems.
