Our guide, Adam, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and personable. He expertly guided us through the history of Gödöllő Palace in both German and French and flexibly accommodated our request to also visit the additional exhibition on the history and jewels of the Imperial and Royal Court Purveyor Köchert. It was disappointing that the additional exhibition was only described in Hungarian and English, and despite promises at the ticket office, there was neither a description, information brochure, nor audio guide available in German. Otherwise, it was a very interesting and informative day trip.
