Reviews: Ko Samet: 5 or 6 Islands Snorkeling Tour with Lunch Option

We were contacted in advance via WhatsApp, and soon met up with the staff at the meeting point on the beach. They took lots of photos for us to download after the tour. For lunch we had Khao Pad and lots of fruit. While there are many remote island tours in Thailand, Samet is not particularly beautiful! However, we were able to see many fish while snorkeling. It's close to Bangkok, so I think it's a good place for a weekend trip.
Reviews: Koh Samed Day Trip by Speed Boat(English-Speaking Guide)

An excellent excursion, or rather, a roundtrip transfer to Koh Samet with lunch included. We were picked up from our hotel, taken to the pier, ferried to the island by speedboat, and then taken to the beach. Sun loungers, umbrellas, a restroom, and a shower with shampoo were free. We brought our own towels. Lunch was served: shrimp soup, rice, French fries, salad, fried chicken, pineapple, watermelon, and a bottle of water per person. Since we were vegetarians, we only ate rice and fruit. But it was enough for us, especially since we brought snacks. We were at the beach at 10:00 a.m. and picked up at 4:30:30 p.m., so we had plenty of time. The beach is sandy and clean, and the sea is cleaner than in Pattaya. There's a beach bar and water activities. We loved everything, and we recommend it.

This day trip was incredibly cost-effective. I didn't have high expectations, but we had a fantastic time. Especially the panda guide – she sang "The Most Dazzling Ethnic Style" on the speedboat, instantly elevating the atmosphere and the overall quality of the trip. We hadn't booked a return hotel, but she paid out of her own pocket to find one for us and take us there. When we asked her about tourist attractions she didn't cover in depth, she honestly told us, without trying to squeeze in extra information. Truly the best guide, bar none.
