My biggest takeaway from using eSIM during this multi-country European trip was its convenience. The biggest advantage is that you don't need to change physical SIM cards; you can install it before departure and then activate data roaming upon arrival in Europe. You don't need to constantly switch cards when traveling between countries, making it especially useful for multi-country trips. In actual use, the network speed was generally sufficient for daily needs. Google Maps navigation, checking train schedules, calling taxis, uploading photos, and using social media were all quite smooth. As long as there was a local telecom provider's signal, I could usually connect normally, which is very convenient for independent travelers. I especially like that I don't have to queue at airport counters to buy SIM cards, and I don't have to worry about language barriers. Just confirm that your phone supports eSIM beforehand and install it according to the instructions. Multi-country plans are also generally much more convenient than buying a new SIM card in each country. However, there are a few things to note before using it. First, confirm that the covered countries include your itinerary, especially for non-EU countries; don't assume that. Second, pay attention to data limits, validity periods, and whether hotspot sharing is supported. Some plans seem to offer a lot of data, but speeds may slash after exceeding the high-speed data allowance. Overall, for independent travel across multiple European countries, I think eSIM is a very worthwhile network option. It eliminates the hassle of changing SIM cards and provides the convenience of cross-border mobility, making it especially suitable for frequent travelers who need to navigate and look up information at any time.

I bought it for a trip to Lithuania and Italy. I activated it in Lithuania. It had excellent connectivity and a strong 5G signal. After my flight to Venice, Italy, everything worked just fine. I returned to Lithuania and feel like a normal person. Internet, voice calls, messaging, and AI all work flawlessly. I bought 100 GB for 30 days and haven't used it up yet. I'll definitely buy more, I highly recommend it.

I thought I could get by with Rakuten Mobile, but unlike last year, even though I had a signal, the speed was completely dead, and I was at my wit's end, so I ended up using this. I was a little apprehensive about whether I could even buy it locally, but it was activated in no time thanks to its amazing speed and the convenience of not needing a physical SIM card. I was able to finish my trip very comfortably. I can't express my gratitude enough. Thank you very much. Travel destinations: Germany, Czech Republic, Poland. However, I wasn't really sure if the phone service was actually working... (When I tried to make a call, a warning message would play saying that this phone number cannot be used.) Once activated, you will find out your phone number via SMS from Orange. Since it was +33, it was indeed a French phone number.
