Silvia was fantastic; she explained a lot to us about the history of Pico and the formation of the volcanic caves. She took her time and answered all of our questions in detail. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would happily recommend it.

Despite the gloomy weather (rain and strong winds), the climb took place. Two guides accompanied us due to the added risks. The first two levels were climbed at a brisk pace to test everyone's fitness. It was a great experience, even though we turned back after these two stages.
