Reviews: From Madrid: Ávila and Segovia Guided Day Trip
Guest User2026-04-02
I had a wonderful time with my friend on this trip. The guides were wonderful and almost everybody spoke Spanish, but they had essentially a private tour for the people that spoke English. I highly recommend this tour - we saw so much!
Reviews: Eurail Global Train Pass [Official Agent/Issuance of Tickets Immediately/Travel in 33 European Countries/Cross-border Use, Unlimited Times]
Guest User2026-04-06
Overall it is definitely not cheap, but you can travel on trains around Europe as many times as you want during the period, flexible and convenient, especially for last minute travelers. Keep in mind in countries like Spain, Italy and France, the reservation fee is expensive and can add up quickly, so you need to plan ahead. Also, in most countries, the app cannot be used in the tickets gates automatically, and must seek help from staff. Hope they can improve it.

Ana Christina was an excellent knowledgeable guide. She gave us a great history lesson on the artists lives and historical times.

There are no assigned seats, so the bus departs as soon as it reaches capacity. I recommend allowing plenty of time. There's no indication of the platform number, but I think it's generally the platform with the longest line, both going and returning…
Reviews: From Madrid: El Escorial, Valley and Segovia Day Trip
Guest User2026-03-17
There wasn't enough time in Segovia; they should have the option of not returning to Madrid after El Escorial and going directly to Segovia.
