Being our first time in Shanghai, we were sure we'd be checking out the evening lights of this big city. And we were right! The tour isn't long, just an hour, but you'll have plenty of time to admire the neon lights and take plenty of photos. Keep in mind that the boat departs 40 minutes after your booking time, and access to the upper deck costs an additional 100 yuan (as we had basic tickets). We decided against it, and spent most of our time simply standing at the edge of the second deck (though there are plenty of places to sit there, too). I especially appreciate the helpfulness of our guide, Maggie, who was available via WhatsApp (including voicemail, in English) and was on hand throughout the tour.

I bought my tickets easily. They were emailed as promised. They contacted me to make sure I received them. I loved the show; the performers did a great job! I've long dreamed of going to this circus, and finally, I saw it. I went with my mother-in-law on my birthday. It was a wonderful end to a wonderful day. We got there easily and found our seats. We thoroughly enjoyed the show. We were in row 7, seats 1 and 3, and had a great view of everything.

The guide was very helpful. Unfortunately, the boat trips were cancelled due to rain. The return trip to Shanghai train station, contrary to the previously mentioned possibility, was not possible.
