We had a fantastic excursion visiting two islands. Our guide, Giovanni, was very professional and funny. He explained the history of Oslo, Hovedøya, and Lindøya well. We enjoyed a hot drink and a delicious cookie. Highly recommended. Kudos to Giovanni!★

The Norwegian Skiing Experience is a must for anyone wanting a taste of cross-country skiing. Håvard (our instructor) was such an amazing guide. He was welcoming, approachable and an all round nice guy. He taught us all the core skills you need for cross-country skiing and within the first hour, the whole group was up and away. There was never a dull moment and Håvard made sure we had plenty of fun. Can’t wait to give XC skiing another go!!★

It was overall a great cruise, very picturesque and prerecorded guide was very informative but no one really to answer questions if we had any. It was a bit cold on a deck of a boat but there was a selection of hot drinks that you could buy from a coffee machine, and also blankets. You could either sit inside or on a deck. No cash, just a card payment, one lady struggled with it so one of the staff helped which was nice.★

The hotel provided a comfortable and pleasant stay overall. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient, and the staff were courteous and helpful throughout the visit. The room was clean, well-maintained, and equipped with the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Housekeeping was consistent and responsive to requests.
The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation options, which made getting around very manageable. The hotel facilities were generally well-kept, and the common areas were clean and welcoming.

Excellent museum, which provides so much history about polar expeditions.From the very first expeditions right through the years of all the 1900s, from so many different explorers.The depth of history in the museum tells the story of all the failed and successful expeditions, what they were doing, why they did it, and how clever they were for their time, and all about the equipment that they used,all the testing that was carried out over years and the tough times endured and all the harsh winters. There is even a piece on the dogs themselves, which were vital. You can also walk on board the ship, which is excellent, as normally you are not allowed to walk on displays.There is two parts to the museum, with the Fram ship being central. I would recommend giving about three to four hours in this museum minimum. There's so much to read and it's very informative. We both enjoyed it very much. There's also a small cafe where you can get tea, coffee, muffin, sandwich, just things small, some chocolate. But I would be careful as it looked like it did close earlier than the museum closed, so you might get caught out.There is a bus stop right outside the museum so it is well connected. Definitely worth a visit when in Oslo.We were very impressed.
