Reviews: Sydney whale watching cruise OE/Phuket Fantasea/GWW • multiple cruises/speedboating/optional time slots

We had an absolute blast on the 1.5-hour Sydney Whale Whisperer cruise! Departing right from King Street Wharf 6 at Darling Harbour was super convenient and seamless to find. Andrew was wonderfully friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable; Having such a great conversation with him made the entire trip feel personal and relaxed. The boat was comfortable, the views of the harbor were breathtaking, and seeing the whales in action was an unforgettable moment. If you're looking for a smooth, well-organized, and memorable whale-watching experience in Sydney, this is definitely the one to book!

There were only Chinese and Koreans, and most of them seemed to be on tours. The food was decent and tasty, and it's really pretty once you go up, so make sure to take lots of photos!!

Reviews: Sydney sunset dinner cruise Captain Cook Asia sunset dinner
Guest User2026-06-15
Our cruise dining experience was awesome. The food was average. Meal was well-presented and enjoyable, and the dining staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The only minor issue we experienced was on one occasion when we departed quite late and had to wait approximately 30 minutes. While this was a little inconvenient, it did not significantly impact our overall experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would happily recommend the dining experience to others.

Reviews: Sydney Jervis Bay wild cruises: includes coffee and tea + onboard English guide + optional departure time slot
Guest User2026-08-17
Staff service could have been better - I followed the instructions set out in the confirmation email and reached 15 Field Street Huskisson 30 minutes before the whale watching cruise set off. It brought my family and I to this bistro with a huge "Jervis Bay Wild" poster. Outside the bistro was a blackboard which instructed whale watching passengers to wait in a line, which my family and I followed. Over time, a few groups of people joined us in the queue. We stood there waiting for 23 minutes before a staff from the bistro came out and instructed us to walk to the whale watching boat further down the wharf (away from the bistro). When we boarded the boat, I noticed this male crew who held a clipboard to take attendance of passengers because he walked past us at the entrance of the bistro where we queued up, without saying a word or to advise us to head towards the boat. I ended up not getting a good seat on the boat despite being early. I did not catch a glimpse of any whale.
