We buy an E-SIM card from Trip.com for every trip. This option covers all of Europe plus Istanbul (we had a layover there). The connection was impeccable in Sicily, Rome, and Istanbul; changing locations and countries didn't affect the connection quality at all. The price is very reasonable; we stayed for 15 days, getting 10GB for 15 days for 279 rubles. We used it without any restrictions.★

I bought it for using in Seychelles. It was working good there and cheaper than offeres at the airport and some other companies on internet. Than i used it in Istanbul and a few days in India. Unfortunately didn't cover Agra and some places in Delhi
